June 1, 200422 yr I'd like to know how the rebel HQ really looks like? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 1, 200422 yr I guess it's simply a big load of material. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 1, 200422 yr don't they install themselves anywhere they can? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 1, 200422 yr Okay back to subject. Does anybody use Skywalker form recruiting and I would like to know if there is a perticulare order for where the hq starts? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 1, 200422 yr I find that Luke has much better uses than diplomacy, being an all around versatille character. As for the Hq pattern, I doubt it but who really knows... Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
June 1, 200422 yr Author I think considdering how absolutely impractical it deploys sometimes, like right next to Yavin or right next to Corrusant or a million miles from the nearest cantina, I'd guess it's completely random. Actually my question was where people mostly do their recruiting. It's my theory that a lot of people would stay on Yavin, knowing it's the most unlikely place for you to be at, and within 100 days you can get a lot of characters, right? "When you take water and pour it into a cup, it BECOMES the cup. When you put the water in a bowl it becomes the bowl. Be smart, be like water my friend.."-Bruce Lee
June 1, 200422 yr Depends who you use for recruiting. I tend to send a lot of people to the sector with Mon Calamari. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 1, 200422 yr don't they install themselves anywhere they can? Yes, of course, did you think the pub thing was a joke? Yavin IV was their HQ, as was Hoth. So it's just an ultrasecure base, in some remote world so Vader gets endless hours of Where's Luke? [TM] fun. The Cloud City thing for Rebellion was probably just meant to make it easier to identify, a while ago, though, I changed the CC icon to a Rebel Crest. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
June 2, 200422 yr But do you guys really think that some planets are better for recruiting than others?
June 2, 200422 yr I usually recruit on a safe planet that is well defended. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 2, 200422 yr Author None of them seem to be well defended in the beginning when you are playing rebels. A handful of troopers, a couple of fighters and one general (which you would have to get there first), don't seem to offer much protection. Even when you can defend the planet you would like to be recruiting on with with a fully combined fleet, it still means that the other planets are not defended and then espionage could give away that ALL your characters, Luke, Han and Leia are on that planet recruiting people making it a very attractive target for an imperial invasion fleet, right? June 2, 200422 yr BTW, do you guys immediately leave Yavin at the beginning of the game or don't you?
June 2, 200422 yr I tend to colonise the systems around Yavin http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
June 2, 200422 yr I move everyone out of Yavin. The AI is random, but if it decides to attack I'm not leaving anything there. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
June 2, 200422 yr I usually colonise around wherever my hq spawns. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
June 2, 200422 yr I usually colonize both around Yavin and around the HQ, and leave the Core alone until the AI has at least managed to achieve something there. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
June 3, 200422 yr I usually proceed as follows:1. I start colonising around Yavin and the Hq.2. At the same time I send all the good diplomats from to take possesion of the sluis sector.3.Then if I already have some good diplomats there I take the Corellian sector. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
