Mass Alteration is used to change all stats for multiple cards.

 

Say we want to cut all Construction Costs for ships by 50%. We put 50 in the textbox, drag and drop the % sign to textbox right of the Construction Cost box. Next, we have a menu to select which cards will be altered (default is all cards). Click Alterate and you are done.

 

There is also the - sign to subtract stats and the + sign to add stats.

Only RebED uses it to track cards. It isn't official or hard-coded into Rebellion. However, since the cards are dated as well, it makes an easy deterant for would-be card stealers. :)

Partial Installer means that you can select some Rebellion components (like movies, sounds or whatever) and install/remove them manually.

 

Now I have a question:

 

I never used SWRE. Where can I get it? Does it have functions rebed hasn't?

SWRE isn't worth your time. RebED does everything and it is more efficient.

The left column is the 'installed' one, the right one is what's there to install from the CD. Right now, you have a full install; you could remove the heave dlls for example to save space.
