March 10, 200422 yr Texas_Fett, may I remind you that the Katana fleet existed of 200 Dreadnaught cruisers, so that some 20 names only cover for 10% of the total ships? Oh, I'm quite aware of that fact, TK. But has anyone ever tried to built 200 Dreadnaughts in Rebellion? Waste of resources, if you ask me. But that's quite enough names for building a 'Rebellion-Scale' Katana fleet. I not only tried but did it.
April 8, 200422 yr Here's a question: can anyone complete the list below of the complement of the fleet under Han Solo's command? April 8, 200422 yr -7 And also make up a list for the Imperial Forces... Oh, ha-ha. Fine, be that way. I didn't want to play anyway. You've got to admit, seeing a ship listing for major engagements would be pretty cool. I like knowing what forces each side has arrayed against each other, and Rebellion gives me a chance to 'relive' the battles. Okay, not exactly the same way, but it does allow me to create a fleet named "Solo Command" and stock it with ships that are as close to what's in the book as possible. {sigh}...I really have too much time on my hands if I'm dreaming this up. Go Trej, go! You're almost there! Five of the Greatest Lines in the Star Wars Trilogy -"As you wish..."-"He's no good to me dead..."-"What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me."-"Put Captain Solo in the Cargo Hold"-"AaaaaAAaaaaaa!!" Fett's VetteThe Lyrics

May 11, 200422 yr The next time I am playing my buddy, I will be playing Empire and be playing really agressively, crunching the rebellion and not giving them an inch! My ships will be named something along the lines of.. Star Destroyers: "Surrender now!""Resistance is useless""You Will be humilated""Oh, please.. don't even bother.""All2Easy" Carriers: "You have how many ties????!!!" Well you get the idea.. ) "When you take water and pour it into a cup, it BECOMES the cup. When you put the water in a bowl it becomes the bowl. Be smart, be like water my friend.."-Bruce Lee

May 23, 200422 yr Ive noticed that after a certain persiod of time, even the AI ships will go unnamed. its kind of unnerving when you are facing off against SSD 39, which has backup of SD II 81, 82, 83, and 84 Come to think of it, the only named imperial vessel left in the game i am currently playing IS the Judicator, and its still in orbit of curuscant. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
May 24, 200422 yr SSD 84...ouch Not SSD, SD II 84. If the empire had managed to build 84 SSDs, i would have given up a long time ago. But yah, its still not pretty. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
May 26, 200422 yr I will try to incrise the number of ships that get names .....lets hope that this will work - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -
May 29, 200422 yr Whenever I run out of ideas for ship names I revert to naming them after a planet, like Corellia's Pride or Ordo's Fury. Or, for smaller support vessels like gunships and corvettes, choose 1 name and number them like Transgressor I, II, III . . . . I find I spend half the game naming my ships though !!! - A thought, being able to name fighter squadrons or wings, though this might be a bit much. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

August 13, 200422 yr I am not going to type a list of all my favorite names I use. However, my number one favorite name for my Mon Cal Cruisers is Ocean Blue. Not really sure why, I just love the name. I even used it in the first RP way back when.
