i told them to get stuffed (in a slightly more diplomatic way) and bought a Samsung YH-920 GS for 80£ and I find it much better than the iPod.

Yes, if they told me it was going to be too expensive or that it should just be replace I had a nice Sony one in mind.

I've heard a lot of bad things about iPods, and whitnessed a few as well. Personally, I'd choose a different brand of MP3 player, Creative if you've got the money.

Though I stick with my MD player, which I prefer to MP3 players.
