  1. how will the eras work with sins? Since some, like the CIS wouldn't be around.
  2. ya, workaround is a better term. Unless your planning on making new trade/refinery ships, why not just use those that are in that mod? I know on some of the more connected maps, once late game kicks in 3v3+ there are tons of those little things. Pity they can't reveal >.> I would look into the particle reductions, most of my minidumps appear when its a full blown teamed engagement on one planet
  3. 800+? I really don't think that would be playable, lag wise. Unless you go all lowest at 640x480
  4. 1 sounds really neat to implement in a way that if you conquer them you get what they have. Nothing too fancy, but some planetary bonues or units/structures. 2. It would be nice if there was an option to reveal all the planets. Not whats in them, just where every one of them are. 3. Now this is a great idea, though it should be an upgrade/reasearch as most of the newer starfighter designs were fielded on older ships as well. I never got the E-Wing though. an X sounds more powerful than E 4. While this wouldn't sound realistic, you can make it so taking over a planet requires longer time than bombing it. That way you can either blow away the opponent before reinforcements arrive, or try to overtake the planet at risk of a backup force arriving.

  6. you have to run entrenchment once to show the folder. if it still doesn't show up you can create it with the same naming scheme as the others. its 1.5 for trinity i believe
  7. thats basically the station i was suggestion, its like a death star, but not. Fits in better cannon wise that a non planet cracking deathstar
  8. I know but given how the pulsar doesn't need to completely destroy a planet, it seems an easier to make alternative. I guess for models you could reskin a deathstar and scale it down.
  9. I really can't recall the names but in one of the X-Wing books, it referenced to something called a pulsar station. It seemed to be that of a dumbed down anti ship death star. I can't remember any more details but it seems it fits the requirement for a star base. Those golans are only good for soaking damage until help arrives.

  12. Well I can get a pretty large 4v4 to not crash even when during its peak I encountered some lag. Meanwhile on a 1v1 with heavy chokes it does crash, without any lag at all. unless it takes more memory to have a huge number of ships in 1 planet, I don't think the 2 gb limit is the case

  14. So I was trying out this mod when about 2-3 hours in, the game crashed with a minidump. I'm guessing it had something to do with an overload as I had a maxed out large imperial fleet assault an enemy choke planet. there were about 148 squadrons of interceptors/strikecrafts on my side, not sure about the AI but it was 4 fleets in one. About a minute into the battle the minidump occurred. After a save reload I though it was due to the excess particles involved in the battle so I just stayed on my side and built defense. 30 min later another minidump. I looked on their choke planet and saw a huge force there so I may be that there were too many objects in one single planet.
  15. so it basically provides a fuller star wars conversion then? Guess I'll take this mod then I assume I sign up for the beta in its sign up section?
  16. Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me any difference between this mod and the Requiem mod. So far I only know from the SOGE readme is that the other one supports the sins races also. Since both are star wars mods, I'm wondering what advantages one has the the other doesn't
