  1. The most important issues is the damage their missiles do and the fact that their armor is so goddamned strong
  2. My games run at 1FPS while the video might run at 3 when fraps is on, at any rate its almost impossible for me to make a good video. I think my hard drive activity is just killing my ingame performance, as my system isn't all that slow.
  3. I would, if Fraps wouldn't lag my PC to obvlivion
  4. You should download PATCH.big and FIXES.big instead and add those 2 files to your command line. You won't need the .zip file.
  5. Okay, here's my thought on the next episode: Is there a relationship between the "final five (missing cylon models)" and the "five priests" mentioned in passing in the scriptural reference made by Roslyn ? I would certainly think this is more then just a mere coincidence! Anorther "coincidence'? - 6 nukes - 6 heavy raiders Every time the eye picture on the wall of the temple was shown the very next cut was to the unstable star cluster in space. I think it's a sign that what they are fighting over isn't even on the planet, it's sitting right next to it. "And when the heavens open...the eye shall be revealed" or something to that effect. My guess is that the star will have to go nova for a sign to be made visible, possibly in space or in the temple, then they will have to have a quick look and jump away.

    Ships

Well for me it has to be the Corellian frigate
  7. Well they said it was too large to go around, also the entire food contamination part was kinda short imo. Overall the story felt rather rushed to me, as if they wanted to give us a sneak-peak of the next few episodes. As to how they knew, their food source got contaminated, so they probably sent out some raptors and the likes to scout. Infact, it shows Sharon scouting the planet and then returning with the "good news". Its probably they somehow knew there was a planet on the other side, but they did not know whether or not it had a food source. At any rate, we'll be seeing this planet again (something with the eye of Jupiter )

    Scenarios

    It does in Warlords

    Scenarios

You could always ram a MC80 into the Executor, not sure if that'd be such a good idea though.

    Scenarios

It would make it nearly impossible for the Rebs to win.
  11. Yes but its still a capital ship isn't it? I mean, its a really cool-looking ship, but its no match for the capital ships of the "current" age.
  12. The smartest thing would be to put the command crew in a heavily shielded room in the center of the ship, with viewscreens and computers to monitor the battle.
  13. They needed the entire fleet to do that, which was quite a lot of ships, including starfighters (possibly bombers as well?) and many many capital ships. Sure, the Leviathan was the first interdictor ship and was the most powerful cap ship of that time, that does not mean that it would be as powerful against ships made 1000's of years later.
  14. Then how do we explain the star fighter flying right into the Executor's bridge?
  15. Leviathan 0_o, doesn't that ship have like 3 laser turrets ???

    0.56 Test 4

There seem to be some overall problems with unit behaviour. I sent my Imperator II Star Destroyer to the enemy base (wich hosted a rather large corvette fleet), this SD was in 'Passive Mode' so it did not fire. Strangly enough, neither did my enemy, it was not until I gave the order to attack that the AI started doing something. This also poses a problem for ships in defensive mode, since this is the standard mode you will HAVE to order a ship to attack a target AI ship, since it won't fire until the enemy fires at them and vice versa.
  17. That's because the weapons, ships etc. they use are all familiar, not overly futuristic.

    Performance

Me, I'm just waiting until Vista and the DX10 cards get cheaper

    0.56 Test 4

It happened accidentaly once, but it kinda fucked up half my fleet (super SSD runnin into 2 of my own Venators)
  20. Might I add that I love the turrets you did for the Venator in the newest release
  21. SSD shot = awesomeness (though completely and utterly unrealistic ;D)
  22. Well its not as good as the season premiere but still a very good episode. The next few episodes should have some more "space-based" action. As far as I know we're going to see a lot more of Baltar/Cylon interaction in the rest of the season (won't give away any spoilers here hehe)

    0.56 Test 4

Hmm, I only need FIXES.big right, not PATCH.big?

    Performance

Processor: AMD 64 3500+ Memory: 2x512 DDR3200 DualChannel Video card: Nvidia Geforce 6600GT Agp8X video memory: 128MB resolution played at 1280x960 Antialiasing level: 2x ansiotropic level: 2x Plays fine with some lag when the battles get massive.
  25. Shouldn't the Venator be less accurate and maybe have less of a hull-strength?
