  1. It would be my pleasure to add in more ship names, and star base names. Get posting my friends!

The NR works. You cannot use ingame mod enabler; this an issue with Sins' engine. I'll look into it. I noted that the Vong was broken as of revision 908. I will be overhauling the Vong again.

Well it helps I had to do the same thing for myself, it's no biggie really. :v
  4. That's odd... While the amount of data that it downloads is less then what the folder-size is after (there are hidden files filled with duplicates of data and such), 135 MB is small for the CORE module. I'd suggest running SVN Checkout again, you might have to do it multiple times. -5 GMT, aka. EST

If it isn't auto-updating, right-click Sins and go to: Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache This will compare your outdated Sins to the latest version of Sins and update it accordingly.
  6. Yup, sounds like something went terribly wrong somewhere. Might I suggest updating your copy of TortoiseSVN before you do so?

    SVN Update Log

Update: September 2, 2012 | Revision: 916 Did a bunch of changes to most starfighters, including enlarging TIE Interceptor and Nantex squad sizes to 12. The Nantex has also been removed from the Lucrehulks, TradeFed AFC, and Geo SDN due to it not supporting the Buzz Droids ability and the AI can't understand this. Jedi Venator now can only build Eta-2s and NTB-630s. Also put in separate naming for both Providence variants.
  8. Including the SVN data, it should be 3.19-3.20 GB.

Update: September 2, 2012 | Revision: 914 All minesweepers will now both automatically clear mines, as they did in Entrenchment, and reveal all mines within a 6000 range radius around them. I also forgot to mention that the Battle Dragon is the first ship to have "ion cannons", while I currently lack the time and resources to make it widespread and give it a unique projectile, it's second Laser weapon only does damage to shields. SVN does have a fairly easy way to revert back revisions. You should be able to find it.

    SVN Update Log

You can't use the ingame mod enabler. It simply cannot handle a mod the size of SoGE; this was explained in the new SVN installation instructions. You have to manually edit EnabledMods.txt in order to launch SoGE on boot.
  11. Try launching just the CORE module and see if it runs.
  12. Been busy getting the mod uptodate and working on the capital conversion project, haven't been able to look at 'em.
  13. Nah, stick with 1.04, the latest revision works with it.

Update to the latest revision, it's compatible with 1.04. No, we don't support pirate scum like you. Go away.

    SVN Update Log

Update: August 31, 2012 | Revision: 912 Updated gameplay.constants, and all planets, to 1.04 standard. Completed NR capital conversion project, increased VSD-II firepower, reduced Venator firepower, and reduced VSD-I's missile firepower but increased laser firepower to maintain the same DPS. The BAC is a heavily armored vessel, nearly equal to the ISD-I, however it's total firepower is just over half of that of the VSD-I, to give a comparison. It's missile banks are purely forward firing; it's turbolasers remain tri-directional. The Battle Dragon is a unique ship. Designed by the Hapans to overwhelm a single target, it dominates in one on one battles, two of them can easily engage a single ISD. However, the moment there are multiple ships and targets involved, the Battle Dragon's effectiveness drops dramatically. Use it well.
  16. SoGE is broken as of 1.04. Works with 1.031, but the latest patch wreaked things. It also came at a bad time; I was out of the country.
  17. I am posting to confirm that SoGE is not working with Sins as of 1.04. The issues with maps not loading aren't due to the map files; it's something either in the player files, GSD, planet, and/or constants files. I will work on this.
  18. You shouldn't have any red markers. Only I should as I'm modifying the heck out of the mod. It sounds like you've screwed with something and thus not all of your folders are in sync with the latest revision of the mod. Don't add maps to the CORE module's Galaxy folder. Instead add them to your Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\GalaxyForge folder; you can still load the maps the same way, they'll just be under the "Galaxy Forge" section in the map menu. I will look into the Alliance and Republic, they've been working fine for me since 898, I haven't tested them much since.
  19. When it comes to maps, I wouldn't suggest adding them to the Galaxy folder, that screws with your SoGE install. Instead add them to your Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\GalaxyForge folder; you can still load the maps the same way, they'll just be under the "Galaxy Forge" section in the map menu. I'd suggest reinstalling the latest build of TortoiseSVN and rerunning SVN Checkout; there's a small chance that it's the SVN program itself causing issues. I'm really at a loss to explain your issues. Also, I'm home now, so I'll take a better look at 1.04.
  20. Is this happening on the Random maps, or the premade maps? This is extremely important. Further, disable every single victory option.
  21. Go to Victory Options and disable EVERYTHING but Allied victory.

    SVN Update Log

Update: August 29, 2012 | Revision: 909 Fixed some strings and attempted fix for various maps due to Rebellion patch 1.04. Tell me if it works.
  23. Oh, I see. I had forgotten to mention in the SVN update thread that there would be an update for Rebellion proper, 1.04, and that this will likely be causing some map troubles, in addition to breaking save games. While I was aware of it, I can't do much as I am currently out of the country. In addition, it has been noted before that flagship victory and research victory are currently broken. Occupation and diplomatic victories may or may not work; only allied and homeworld victories are confirmed to work. Research victory, due to the changes we have done to the AI, will never be supported.
  24. Woah woah woah. If you're switching from Entrenchment to Rebellion, do a clean SVN Checkout, don't use the old Entrenchment files. The overwrite option was explained for those that got the Rebellion alpha off of mediafire. Regardless, I'm glad it's working now and there should be multiple medium-sized random maps which you can make use of. The Interconnected map, while listed as a "small" map is actually a medium sized map; it merely has 3 players.
  25. Enable the mod before opening Sins, using the ingame tool has a very high probability of failure. Look at #7, it explains this. If the sound folder is acting up, that sounds exactly like you need to re-run SVN Checkout. You might also have to export the folder to another location, aka. get rid of any current SVN settings, so it is properly overwritten during SVN Checkout.
