more then screwed. we now have to deal with cheaters... and man..... don't want me to start in about them -
and would just about bypass any land unit with no harm to the capital ships.... this would then be really bad for mp rebel players because imps could just bomb the hell out of every planet before landing and would only need a large space force....and one or two land units for quick take overs

wow this is so true i wish i thought of it myself! though what really pisses me off is when ai doesn't even attack you, but rather just reinforces their own planets and goes to unopposed ones you have. (ie you have no forces on a planet and it's dividing their two secors they'll just march over your planet without taking it) but i can seriously see a problem in mp for games where rebels could spam x wings all over the map and make no land forces except for one or two for neutral plant taking.... with no land forces and the better space aiming for the rebles x wings or even worse fighters could maybe even take over the galaxy thanks for pointing this out mate! in the tort they only gave the retreat option when the enemy had no space units above that planet..... makes you think.... -

i think relentless means that the player could just "stop fighting" at the right moment allowing the enemy to flank your forces in an area that was previously defended by your ex-allies troops.... anyways many times this does no happen manly because there is no EXP in mp... if there was then this is a serious question that needs to be looked apon.... -

ever play rome total war? its basicly that.... 3d map were you can view at any angle. -
story of first and only imperial conquest.... i had a battle with over 40 transports left of the enemy and one VSD (extreamly damaged but 1 turobo laser left) 2 ISD's (damaged but only a little) with no fighters/bombers left. let me say that it took a whole night on fast mod to have my three ships finish off the enemy fleet. i was going out of my mind with the horriable aiming, comeon! TRANSPORTS! oh well nothing i can do so i go on and after a whole day playing i'm at my last two planets!!! w00t! the empire has surely won! anyways whats left is land action on holth and space at the astriods (real ones) so i land at holth and with 13 at-at 22 at-st nermerious maulars, and anti tank tanks. i roll across the desert planes of holth (on the tantooine map) anyways i rape them with only 10-at-at. BUT after i kill 3 heros and all their units ..... i don't win.....there's this invisiable building that my units fire at but nothing can distroy. i bomb it but to no effect. so instead i retreat, and reland in hopes to bypass this building. but to no effect. so in agrivation i retreat and go to my last space battle (holth will last with invisiblity. let them hide sigh.... would have made a great example to other rebels :-\. anyways after holth i went to the astiords. BUT before i did i sent in my lucky scout. with great effect i see 164 of a single unit. WTF?!?!?!?!? so i take it they were transports? ummmmm anyways with figures of 30-50 about 7 times i was intrested on knowing if my system could handle it. *(thats all it took for my victory to end) so i send in 4 isd and 2 corrvets.... i do this in sight that a 28 isd,23 broadside,47 corrvets and 4 VSD's would make lag of it's own ..... as the loading screen comes up i'm fightened already.... i see that the screen has seemed to almost freeze... but the bar still moves. so in hopes lag will get better. i hit begin. (what a fool i am) with the begining of the battle i get 1 fram per 30 SECONDS ( i counted) i took 20 minutes for the movie intro to go away (didn't see rebels though) as i continue it gets worse. i go into trubo mode in hopes of less lag but only to get 1:20 fps.... it sucked. anyways i got to move my ships and move them a little but the lag was to much.... (what every you do. use DEATH STAR on places with over 100 enemy ships..... trust me.... would have loved to nuke them rather then mega lag....) any ways to get to the end. 4 major points one, improve imperial ship acc.... right now it sucks compared to playing as rebels on hard ( will real game be better or will mod be needed? ) second - i know invisable buildings can't be helped due to modding issues, and i love the mods. so no complaint here! third improve AI. only 4 times did the ai attack me. and that was only because they were moving to a uncoverd planet that i was sending troops to. ai in battle isn't for the greater cause either. rather then trying to flank me or distroy important areas in my line they just select what there strong against. so i end up killing there flank. flanking them. and surrounding them for a compelete kill while there just hitting a stupid VSD..... four. after almost winning on hard. what happens when you Do win? anyone get there yet? thanks alot for any insight people can give me. and hope you don't run into 500 + ships anytime soon even if they are transports... p.s. any idea why tie fighters get pwned by transports yet bombers do fine? (bombers use lasers.....) again thanks

Delphi – Hmm…" i think this means "YES". only because most good games have expansions. and when asked if an expansion is coming out they act as if unsure.... (expansion would maybe be 3d?.... how sick would that be ? )

well from the projects i'm use to many small mods basicly SPAM the network at release. this means about 50 mods and new changes withen the first 3 months. after that mods become more indepth and bigger, with better features. after 3 moths we get a cupple of good "mod packs" and or "builds" in about a year + most comunities get their first "conversion mod" inwhich the game has compeletly changed. i don'y know what "imp assault 2" because i'm mostly a rts player myself. but i'd say with a game like this. full conversion will take about a year give or take a month or two.... but many factors come into play with this estimate. first - how many people are in the build team. two- is it coded? how long will it take to break? (so far seems free code) third is there mod support by the company? or will modders need to figure things out themselves? (editors, mod tools.... ext...) again this is all figurative. but from the past games i've played and supported. about a year for the first full conversion. -

you may already have full tech though.....inwhich you can't research anymore edit: ya i know when i first got my mods going i was like WTH is the tech option ?!?!?!?. then i noticed..... #4 to the left so i quit and changed it to 2 planet start mod with lv 1 tech so much more fun ;D anyways many mods have full tech start as their implanted funtion. though thats for noobs -
not really becasuse without mods this isn't possiable.... and i think that speeders won't be enough to stop my at-at rampage

i know there have been other topics about the ingame camera supported with EaW. but nothing in the seaches i have done refere to logitech mice. for some reason when i hold ctrl and use the mouse well it only zooms out like regularly using the mouse wheel.... how exactly does this funtion work? am i missing somthing? anyone? help? thanks

all i can say is that 10 at-at's just about PWN anything. you don't even need back-up, or stormtroopers (which come from the at-at). all you need to watch at-at apeage is 10 at-at's and a hostile planet. take over the plante in a space battle and land your pimped out force of at-at's. when you've landed them all (having all 10 at-at on the planet) basicly divide them into two groups (5 each) and hit each pass way. you don't even need to stop the at-at's, you can just have them march across to the other side of the map. when there through to the other side you'll have two solutions. one the rebels are retreating. or two, you need to finish off those bases. but other then that at-at pwnage is freakin sweet. and well worth some time just to watch . you all probly know this by now, but the rapeage is just so hot. so....hot............. so.....................hot......................

one problem. LOS- you can't distroy the heavy factory with a bomber run without LOS. and when you try and get there your units are getting raped by the unlimited forces and turrets just "chillen" and waiting for you. it sucks to be honest. you kill about 10 of there units for a lose of 3 yourself, you then push foward and BAM 10 more just made to kick ass once again. if your try to distroy the bases before units (which is the only way to win i've found) your units just get pwned by the enemies. and because your distracted it's like slaughter..... one tactic that i've learned to counter this is to send out 3 small troop armies (one infant each) then go around and take as many planets as you can, meanwhile building one HUGE force. while your "raiders" take over all the planets just don't attack your enemy. after a while you'll have alot of cash coming and one mega as$ force, and then you just steam roll one planet after another with that one force. dividing your forces = BAD IDEA considering that your enemy only uses one force itself it will be smaller then your combinded force yet bigger then if you had 3 armies..... anyways to get back on topic.... just over whelm them with mass amounts of troops. litterly just RUSH them into combat, steal the build pads and make a "beach head" from there you can hold out as reinforcement after reinforcement comes down to the planet from your mega army..... i hope that helps somewhat to counter the "infinate" enemy....

thanks for the help...... the plant is the one that comes from the demo (desert map) so i distroyed EVERY building and still couldn't land... maybe it's cause of the tornados? also sucks about that fighter thing - wish it was differn't, guess i need to have my capital ships lock on only the space station and not the hard points... and the anti fighter corrvets should be THAT strong.... not agaisnt cap ships atleast.....

this is two questions in one.... Q 1: lets say i sent in a fleet and wanted it to hold off the assault untill another fleet came.... is this possiable in the full version? Q 2: also lets say i damaged every ship on the other side, yet i die and leave the other fleet a crippled mess. even though i have another fleet as reinforcements just SECONDS away i lose the battle..... now with the enemy fleet crippled and baddly need of overhaule, my other full fleet comes in for the kill. my question is if i have damaged a ship... will somthing need to be done to repair it? or will it go to max health right after the battle..... if it does just go to full health then you'd think question one would be kinda vitial.... thanks in advance

(currently using bryants mod) - also is there ANY way of getting non-fighters to finish off a star base?......... it's tiresome waiting for 30 mins as your last A wing or X wing tries to take out the crippled star base while there are 5 capital ships just "sitting" around.... and even worse when you don't have any fighters or bombers period .... for some reason when power points on the star base are gone bigger ships become unable to attack it........... - also whats up with the speeders.... i made mass amounts of them in the demo but bame.... i can't land them on the planet, i know it's a mod and a demo but has anyone else come into this issue??!?!?! - third is it me or are corrvets just over powered? i had 4 a wings 4 x wings and 4 bombers get taken out in 15 seconds vs one imp corrvet..... and when i tried taking them out with my capital ships the raping was done and the corrvet out of range and onto my transports......... - there any way of making imp's attack your planets? i go for hard mode but it just keeps returning it to normal.... (must be stupid me) but the only planets they attack are ones that are neutral.... only way i got them to attack me was when i sent out my rushing party to take a planet (forget which one) and when i got there and took it the imps were half way there and couldn't stop.... so i got free kills against a small two transports... help? - for some reason when i use (not sure which one) some of the heros in a space battle it seems to just freeze up in the loading screen... i've narrowed it down to luke or obi.......... anyone else having hero problems in this mod? thanks in advance for any help that can be given?

first time posting but @ naja ..... are you talking about the reinforcement grid? just close it and the red grid goes away.... other then that the only grid is on the mini map.... which helps alot....
