  1. Quality as I would expect from your past works EJ, but I would hasten to agree concerning the poly count. Perhaps once you've done the original ones someone could try rebuilding them to lower poly versions and coding them in.

Well I've been slowly building up a small time personal mod (no where near as good as some of the already in progress mods by any means), which I'm working with to gain experience with the modding side of the game, but enough of my own work. Heres a suggestion of my own. I know theres been some ground based infantry mods, but how about ground vehicles?? I've not quite gotten the hang of rigging them properly as yet, and if some nice person can provide me with some info concerning it (we're talking idiots guide BTW), then I may have a few choice items to release at some point, once I perfect the methods.
  3. Well originally I modelled for Star Trek Armada 1/2 and creating the necessary hardpoint hierarchy with max is far easier than with either MS3d or UU3d. Same goes for EaW.
  4. Actually, just because someone owns 3dmax doesn't mean they can actually model. I own max myself, and whilst I do model I have never used it for that purpose.

  7. Whilst its good to make this kind of request, it would be better to wait for FoC's far larger space based maps. Anything larger than an ISD wouldnt' play very well on any of the maps (even the ones that have been made larger and already released), if resized to the correct canon size (bare in mind if anyone did release any larger capital ships and they were smaller to fit on the maps okay, your going to have purists whine and moan about the size).
  8. SWFan. Any chance you could upload that as an attachment. I've never been able to work out how the hell to use rapid share. Oh and I'm also getting this: "You have reached the download-limit for free-users" So that might have alot to do with it.

Okay, so seeing as I was primarily responsible for that bit of minor flaming, and as long as no-one minds registering to get hold of the content then theres around 100 models which are freely usable for multigame conversion. Star trek, Stargate and also Star Wars models are there, and I can vouch (sp??) for the content as I'm an admin on the site and forum.   11. Let me see. So whats the title of this thread?? Doesn't look like its entitled "Brag about a model you know the whereabouts of", now does it, or was that being obvious as well.
  12. Well do you realise that it would be prudent to actually provide some reference material (images etc.etc.) to make it easier for your request to be carried out.
  13. Not for someone who rarely uses PS. I've actually found you PSP to be far easier and quicker, for myself anyway. Even with that tutorial and after half a dosen attempts and 2 hours wasted (on the last attempt), I gave up.
  14. Well this looks pretty good so far, but a word ot the wise. Halogen has recently been closed by MS/Bungie so I would suggest the mod makers get in immediate contact with MS/Bungie for permission to use the halo characters/names. Just a friendly warning.
  15. Nope. Already done that, although it seems that ALL the cruisers are missing. Looks like it must be something else.
  16. Okay so this is VERY strange. After putting in the shadowclaw I've lost the imperials victory ISD and Acclamator. Has anyone else had this happen and know how to correct it?? The two units are still missing even after I've removed the shadowclaw and I'm not entirely certain what the smeg I've done wrong.
  17. Yes, you can. A member of the forum "AdmiralRyan" by name, posted a minimod which allowed the rebels to build a smaller version of home one as a less powerful version of the ship.
  18. You can only add in variants of stock ships. You cannot currently add new ones until the modding tools are released, and don't ask when that will happen. Its supposed to be soon.
  19. Mikan. What hardpoint names did you use for weapons firing as theres none referenced in the models ALO file??
  20. So TGA files definately work then?? I've already tried but the one I tried to replace didnt' work. Are there any specific settings that need to be used??
  21. Appologies Clonecommander. The thing is, its not a cheat of any sort. Its a mod (not the same thing). A mod changes items directly in the game and its well know that all parties do require the same files to play against each other. Unfortunately cheats are something which people can use directly against others to overly beef up units etc.etc.
  22. Clonecommando. Shall I do the big picture version so your limited mind can understand what this is about?? Yes?? Okay. *uses a voice similair to that of talking to a very young child* This is called a m-o-d-f-i-c-a-t-i-o-n, not a c-h-e-a-t. .......and I always use one particular saying at this point for the kind of person you are. "My 10 year is both smarter and far more intelligent than you shall ever be". Not to everyone else I do realise that this is both highly insulting and most likely against forum rules, but then when you have some halfwit come online and not know the difference, it does make a person laugh at the mentality (or lack of therein) that this person purveys.
  23. Just get the MEG extractor and extract them all yourself.
  24. DragonShadow. The program I use is similair to Installshield, but is a bit easier and quicker to use. It backups any replaced files so having multiple mods installed with this program works fine. The best part about it, is it also features a rollback function to make the installation the way it was. I've used it many, many times for my own Armada 2 mods.
