  1. thats for multiplayer not SP .. but u can just go edit those maps in the xml code even then ..i thought the 43 player map for SP was pretty ballanced
  2. final big was good. i liked it for generals although i ended up using XCC mixer for it just because i was to lazy to go and download final big.. but great job supporting all .. games made westwood../ petro
  3. a death star map is possible .the trench and stuff.. but scripting it so the x wings fire torpedoes into a tiny hole.. another story..
  4. they already said mod kit is coming soon so im not worried about that about content... I dont see what the deal is with them cutting things out.. Most games have many more features planned than u see in retail versions.. while i would have liked to see more.. its not as bad as other games.. Normaly i play mods more than i play their vanilla versions so im not worried about content at all. i mean i nearly only bought this game for the enigne to mod.. .. the content.. while i love it.. is only half the reason i bought this game bugs.. i guesss understandable when using gamespy for multiplayer.. besides that i havnt seen many bugs besides that. ive seen worse.. I mean its not like they said they were gonna have diplomacy in the few months before the game was in retail.. the box didnt say "with diplomacy!!!" If you are worried about companies taking content off for an expansion u guys better head on to EA's forums and petition BF2 not to have all the new content on "boster packs" .. content that would have been in patches .. but instead they focus on making new stuff to sell instead of workin on fixing the game :/

  6. lol nice looks funny.. i wish we could make AA look more like conucussion missiles .. those missiles that fire straight forward, i dont like too much :/ when can we expect an updated beta for the moddin team.? id really like to try out some new things with the updated version of the mod
  7. u could say the same thing about their equipment too but i have a small itsy bits problem with mixed squads how will this work in terms of range example.. Imperial Fleet Squad: 10 Men 4 Troopers with Blaster Pistols (Single shot firing, 120 meter range) 4 Troopers with Blaster Carbines (3 shot burst fire, 300 meter range) 2 Troopers with Blaster Cannons (Single shot firing, 400 meter range) ok so the people with 400 memter range would fire right.. but what about the other units.. they woulnt be able to fire with the 8 other troopers because they dont have the range.. but simple they just get closer.. but then the troopers with 400 meter range would have to get as close as 120m so that every unit could fire.. since they have to travel in a group.. since we dont have "stand ground" stances we cant really effectively allow some troopers to have guns with 400m ranges when in a group with people that have a 120 m range pistol the only solution is to allow the spacing in the squad get up to 300 m apart... or how ever needed but that almost defeats the purpose of a squad ..
  8. hehe. I really think that we need to get rid of the AA guns in the game and try to use a laser instead.. or a missile launcher like the ones found in rouge squadron. for n 64
  9. maybe if it looked like the ships taking off in Attack of the clones and having artillery attackin the ships and then falling down and creating a huuge wave of.. dust and sand

  13. no but im goin to make it so they arent even dropped.. so they "come down" from space but never are dropped to the ground. .hopefully possible

  16. skinning is like extremely precise drag and drop U make a map of where uwant all the stuff to go.. u make map with those areas colored in your favorite paint tool.. eg. photoshop.. then u just drag and drop to the model .. that was really the general form of doin so..if u want help on how to do it in gmax or 3ds i could help if u pm me
  17. its not a video. its an actual map with scripts that makes units hyper in non stop and create a battle that would seem interesting to watch when the map editor comes out u could make ur own shell maps if u wanted

  20. If we come knocking on petroglyphs door will anyone awnser ?.. lol i have a question that i bet u guys know the awnser to.. is the petroglyph building bigger .. than the old westwood one.. ?.. .. on pourpose maybe?
  21. it wont be that hard because u have to model that part of the ship seperately.. so what u do is model it while the ship is intact.. maybe then u can take part of the side out.. make it a battery.. and texture it.. give it a backside so it doesnt look invisible and make that part of the ship u took out.. make the back look like its got metal girders or something .. and then u just tell the game where they go. .like a jigsaw puzzle

  23. i dont see why we have to make everything soo big.. we could easaly just scale everything down and have huuuge entire planets.. i mean right now at at's take up the whole screen :/ same with the artillery units.. i mean who knows if we can get maps big enough for them.. maybe if we scale down we can have 200x200 km maps
