haha good job. As far as realism or balanced im one for realism. Even in rebellion the Imperials Ships were vastly superior in most cases but The rebellion had a fighting chance. It just requires more skill to play as the underdogs. Something that always upset me with SWG. Players who were rebel had no clue as to what it meant to be a rebel and demanded all equality and it ruined any form of a civil war.

Lucasarts made a bad call forcing a "Big Announcement" like Event by saying cant release delay info til a certain time on a certain day. You shouldnt expect the worse for big announcements and honestly big announcements shouldnt be negative. Its obvious that EAW has been delayed til Feb 21st for some time now as Ebgames etc listed 21st while most sites still said 7th. Lucasarts again failed in community relations

Yeah I have no gripe With petroglyph. They are gods among men in the rts industry developer wise. Lucasarts i dont have much faith in but thats for whole other reasons. and I think it is mainly cause i dont see why they delayed you from telling us right away it was released. Making it an Anticipated Big announcement coming next week made it seem positive and something to look forward too. Seems to me Its Lucasarts screwing up and screwing us over again with thier lack of Customer relation Skills. Delays shouldnt be planned events to release. if its delayed just say so

oh I certainly agree with you. What got me excited about this game when i first heard about it was the people they brought in to make it. With The majority of the legens behind Command and Conquer how could this star wars RTS fail. But lucas in commentaries has said the geonosians were the Death Star Contractors that built it for the Empire since he threw that line in Attack of the Clones.

Agreed regarding the CIS winning. The Episode 3 Novelization i thinks the best novelization for any of the movies. it really goe sin depth with the backstories and details about specific people. The Invasion of Coruscant actually had alot to do with the Labyrinth of Evil book. Palpatine was close to being discovered by the Jedi and was gonna be screwed basiclly. The Invasion gets the jedi off the Hunt and thus lose track of the evidence leading upto palpatine and then finally Makes him look even better as the poor captured chancellor. As far as death stars go for EAW. I think its kinda neat we gotta have certain Planets to build it. Lucas has More or less Established the geonosians Were the Contractors hired to build the Death Star. All the design stuff has been more or less confirmed with lemelisk helping design etc. They just have made geonosis go for resources as just contractors wouldnt be enough for the planet requirement.

Agreed wih rebuilding. also dealing with advance technology. even old republic technology is beyond ours on earth. Terraforming exists in that time frame so theyd likely terraform the planet back to its full habitable status then rebuild

I dont know if theyd be actually weaker. from a abalnce standpoint the empire Does kinda need its unlimited swarm over time ability for star destroyers. As Much as I like the Empire its fighters are total garbage for the most part. Xwings and other rebel fighters would slaughter the fighters the empire had present if they couldnt pull constant reinforcements like that and make battles way too one sided. First post
