the thrawn trilogy one of(if not)the best star wars novels ever. the x-wing series is also good, or you could do what i plan to do and read them in order -

but the EU is what makes this fictional universe just as real as our one. its the same thing with middle earth as well, the star wars universe has its own culture its own history everything thats needed to make it believable and real. the EU is what makes star wars much more then just another blockbuster movie. while i think that the first half of the NJO was bad, the second half and the LOTF are quite good, the EU has its ups and downs, but overall is very good and much better then books and games about other things(star trak comes to mind) -
if your going to be in a clan you should respect the people in that clan, if other people dont respect each other in a clan then its going to be a crapy clan and the name will mean nothing, so theres no point in ether respecting the name of the clan or being in that clan.

is the EU ever going to end? i find it unlikely it will end when people stop buying the books and games and whatever else there is, and most of the EU is quite good(some parts are crap). it also goes to about 5000 years Before yavin : -
there's also my trip around europe that i plan to take one day(europe being easier to get around then anywhere else because of the EU and that fact that i have Irish citzenship)

i say we go combo, sort of like... well most star wars storys i guess. that way different people coule pick up different factions that they are good at writing. for example, you could end up the new republic part, i could write it from a third party view(smuggles, pirates or the freedom hunters.) and someone else could do the empire.

i think it would be rise of the new republic would be untill the captured imperial center(cant spell the other name) and imperial remnant is untill the new jedi order books. anyway i place my vote for rise of the new republic, but as i said before im happy to write in any era.

yes it should. other the the mini user center(the blue doesnt go with the rest of the forum) i like this new theme. i also dislike the fact that my blue text is now unreadable. but i'll live the that
