Just to get this out of the way, All of you who say there is not enough info out about the game, GET OVER IT, this is marketing, not all the information is given out because they want people to be curious about what is in the game so they buy it, it also has to deal with the legal system, where petro and Lucas are not allowed to revel to much info before the game comes out. As for Fighter squardens/groups they will dock in the capital ships, ISDs, VSDs, Venators, the DS.
  2. A good example, as i have said before and others have said, is that Sandpeople will be hostile to all and jawas will be rebel allies (only speculation tho)

I think idea #3 would be closest, but remember YOU DECIDE THE FATE OF THE GALAXY which means if you stop the rebels from stealing the x-wing plans, they can not get them, until the mission is, as you said, completed successfully. As for the a-wings, those were entirely designed by the rebels so that is probably just a "research to get" type thing, but a-wings are long of from being on the same level as the x-wing. The x-wing is more of a power house and air/space superiority fighter, where as the a-wing is an interceptor, it can fly fast, but has weaker shields/armor and weaker weapons.
  4. This is how i hope it works. And yes I have played AOE 1-3 and your units dont instently repare, like Deadeye said, you never have the same units, you would start with those units weather you ended the last mission with only a hero or with as many men as you could fit on the map.

  8. As of now i only know of 3 rebel attack vheicals, the 2 tanksa nd this one. compared to the imp tanks andall 3 types of walkers i think it is afare trade off.

  10. for all we know the ISD can hold 6 squads, screen shots are to show whats in and not give logistics.
  11. ya, an instent repare after battle would take away the stratigy part of the game. All you have to do is build a fleet od ISDs and VSDs and launch an attack on the enemy (and i mean a big fleet 100+ or max per map) and just push your way through the enemy and never loss.
  12. that would be interesting, but i know the smaller vehicals like tanks just blow up and leave a detonationring, unless that is going to be changed from the trailers, which i doubt.

  15. in ither the origonal dev intervew or the second Brett says that one of the missions would be aquiering the x-wing(if memory serves me correctly)
  16. I think it would be like what Ghost said, because one of the missions is to steal the x-wing (if you rebles) so it would not make sense to have it as an opining movie and then do the mission.

  18. i just though of something, If the coding for the game will be as easy to changes as it is reported to be, we might be able to open the game file and (for example) change the code "Herorespawn=true" to "Herorespawn=false"

  21. No i see it, Now i have to read the book, i mean an Ewok pilot! how cool is that, besides the fact that he would never be able to reach the contriles to actually fly.
  22. No it is an AT-ST, it's reallt hard to make out. That is what he meant, the picture is at-st, it is actually a pod walker in the game. Are you sure? chewie and Han can capture vehicles, so none of us really know.

  25. Most RTSs i played gige you a choice, so i don't see why this one will be any different, and i you get the choice to and don't want to, then don't.
