low tech in comparison to the rest of the BIG species, the gungans don't have space travel. And the empire could train other species, but think about this, How hard do you think it would be for a twi'lek to fit his/her lekki in the stormy helmet? lol, maybe they would have a generic locking uniform?

Lytyr, that sounds like it could work, i like the ideas that your generals/Admirals may become smarter and be able to run a battle by themselves, may take more casualties, but that would be great.

i have to agree with Darkmark, but i havet to say one thing: like many other stratigies it will hevely depend on the enemy AI.

back to the factions, imagine being the rebels and training a unit (squad? whatever) on Kashyyyk and all the troops are wookies because you are allied with the wookies and you are training them into your army, same goes for the other races with the rebels, but not the imps.

i would say it's a mining droid, but there aren't any in the game, but it may be a building that increases the amount of resources you get.

the expression is "like a hot knife though butter" (culinary student, i should know) anyway, it looks like i came from another cap ship of screen, but there are ground based ion canons you can build in the game.

i hope you can have multiple battles at once, or atleast a choice to allow more then one at a time, i like playing RTSs and having a medium force attack the enemy in one place and when the AI sends all it troops there to fight, i send a really big force to the opposite side and have no problem crushing the enemy.

If your talking about the rebel vehicle that shoots out missiles, I think that is a Portable Photon Torpedo Tank/Lancher

that would be awesome to make a mine-series of our own about EaW. And looking at it in a strategic point of view, you could record the battle and see what you did to win or what you did wrong that caused you to lose the battle.

in one of the later books (have not reached it yet) but a living planet is found in the unknown region, i think that planet has ties to the vong. But like i said i have not finished the series yet, so i could very well be wrong.

Actually, yeah, I have heard about them scouting the Star Wars galaxy. But that is second hand info for me, haven't read anything I think about it. 50 years B4 the NJO books the Yuuzhan Vong came to the SW galaxy, that's when Verege joined them, she is a jedi who went with the Scout fleet to try to keep them from returning to the galaxy. (have not finished the series but i think it is emplied that the Vong started off in the SW galaxy and left for some reason. Also if you ever played KoTOR I Ordo mentions a mission he was on when he was young, where he was chasing pirates and at one point put a hole in an asteroid that then started sipting fire at them and fled to the ends of the galaxy and off beyond the galactic rim. (possibly a Vong ship)

Yes that was my mistake, i did not see that thread until just a few minuets ago, sorry for the mistake. Also i did read (somewhere) that the LAATs were sill in use during the GCW in the far reached of the empire, so there is a chance we may see them. Final I thought Mon Motha and the other founders of the Rebellion started it shortly after the Senate was defused, which i thought was a few years after ep3. i don't know everything and if i made a mistake at least i will not make it again.

Did anyone notice that both Vader and Solo had 3 troops flanking them? maybe hero units get a escort :huh:

ok, delpi said the time line ends with the battle of Yavin, but since were talking about the Tehc time line and not the date time line, don't you think the game would keep running after the time of the battle of Yavin? i mean, how many RTSs have you played where the game will just end after ...lets say 2 hours? I cant think of any, im pretty sure the game will keep running you just will not be able to get more upgrades.

ya, sounds good, booby trap a few asteroids, that way if you have to retreat the enemy will fly right into them and blowup.

Maybe they would be like the Sand People from from battlefront, hostile to everybody .

That was a V-Wing fighter. The Republic Version of a TIE. Doesnt look anything like a v-wing, and thought the V-Wings belonged to the rebels?
