sadly i didnt play the 2 xpacks, but ill get em in feburary. the one mission that im hating is the one where you are allies and have to save tanyaa...freakin annoying once you get troops on land. put what about turrets? for allies they are like the perfect tank buster. at least the mammoth tank wasnt ridiculously overpowered like the overlord tank in generals, it was plausible to take one down with 6 rocket dudes and 2 turrets. what does the iron curtain do anyways? i like the intro though to the original, one of the beest i have ever seen. and i guess its allies own water, soviets own land, and air is sorta middle ground, allies have thier destroyers, soviets have thier tanks what i found surprising were the statistics. there were like 4.7 million allied forces in the war and like 14 million + for the soviets. that left me just

what can i say? it is a great game! i just reinstalled it on my old win 98 and playing through the soviet missions! well this thread is about waht you like about it, and if not that, what its shortcomings were Pros -soviet missions, how the scenes aree played out and the emphasis on annihilation -balanced, the soviets have some powerful tanks, but can be countered by the allies, its the diffrence in units and strategy that makes it so balanced -gotta love the 8 pixel infantry -the FMV sequences really make it entertaining, especially with stalin and his officers Cons cant think of any now

i think that the build que will be like what ghostly said, 5 units of each type are allowed at a time, but i think that if you click the build stormtrooper button, or build xwing button, when it si finished there should be like 5 stormies or xwings, they did a similart thing in RON but it was 3 per click or so

spork? nonono i think a fork would be much more pokey..... but with capturable ships (if it is in by end) would we be able to i dunno play as the rebels steal thier ISDs and then go into empire space disguised with the ISD? or would they recognise that it isnt one of thiers and start firing?

im not saying you could use it to cheat, but if you had scouted the entire map, then whats the strategy? you can see where the enemy is ata all time! its the toggle i dont like, we need FOW for good!

Arw you relating this to proof you have seen in EAW or just certain rts games in general? As i said we haven't seen any building destruction so far, thats why i made this topic... he has played the demo of the game at the german convention during the summer i believe so i guess the info is very accurate

very well, you can come in, firstly, you need to program and design your own demo of an RTS first, then make a full product, sell the rights to us, then we will hook you up

i think there should be definate fog of war, no toggle, why should you cheat? it just seems cheating and less realistic being able to see everthing at the same time, including in space.
