If you are the most powerfull weapon in the universes you can take all the time you need (And at least planets cant run away )

It's a medium ship as far as the videos tell. Almost as large as the unknown imerpial cruiser. As it seems it has a larger amount of torpedo/missile banks because in one video you can see them (actually you cant see the two Decimator firing but they are the only ships located where the missiles are coming from) firing a large amount of missiles at an incoming squadron of A-Wings.

Ah a timer. I did such a thing in html and was thinking about integrating it to my website but I'm not sure where. (timer)

One suggestion was that one of the Mon Clas is the Home One because we only see one ship of this type (never more of them like the winged ones). We can also see a Corellian Transport in some videos and screens. I suggest it might be the Millenium Falcon because it is only found within Rebel fleets and its also always the only ship of this type.

I think HTML is diabled in signatures so there is no way showing a swf file, except converting it into a animated .gif image.

The best way of testing it is playing it in a league at high levels because new tactics develop and you can see which units, factions, whatever need fixing. Humans always have better ideas and can create new tactics, which the AI cant -

Balancing (I just want to add these few lines even if they are not fitting to 100% to the topic. Please forgive me ) In general: Balancing is the most important thing in a RTS. Why? Because an RTS only surives over years if it is constantly updated and kept balanced (or just tried to keep ) Just look at StarCraft or WarCraft 3. They are played today with th same (or even more) enthousiasm and only because these are great games which have been constantly updated. So please Petro care for this game and keep on publishing balancing fixes. No game will be balanced when it comes to the market and they will never really be, they just get close to. Even today in StarCraft there are some things which are considered to be unbalanced. As a "good" example I want to pick out Dawn of War which is really a great game but I have forseen its downfall and now I'm seeing it and simply because the developer and publisher did not care for balancing the game in mulitplayer matches. Patches are rare (you could say unique) and do not consist of the necessary fixes to keep the game playable in leagues and tournaments. I'm working as an admin in the Electronic Sports League (Europes biggest gaming league) and I will surely overtake the administration of the EaW part. The community is really curious about the game and I hope (no, I know ) that you don't make the mistakes to favor making and expansion (and earning money) instead of improving the game and keep it playable (in the first months. Of course you should release an expansion lateron ). If nobody plays the game, nobody will buy the expansion except the very dedicated ones. I think THQ will notice that in a few weeks... I dont want to (as we say in Germany) "Paint the devil on the wall" (I think the appropriate translation is " Don't meet trouble halfway") but please always keep in mind that a game can only survive over the years if the devs care for the needs of the community. I hope, no I'm sure you will. I just wanted to add this fact because I just don't want to see the "downfall" of a good game again. Never ever. Keep time and make it right. I know you will -

I took a closer look at the video (and another one we can see the Decimator in as I found out) and as it seems it is not transport because you can see it firing several missiles vs an incoming squad of A-Wings. At least I think. The video is the GameZone E3 Special. I just cant remember which minute it was in

I'm here No I didn't forget it. I just finished my last exams and I'm lets say... drunk 24/7 No, being serious. I could do it but sharing the job with another user would propaply the best because my page and other projects keep my busy at the time so I can not guarantee to get the news always up-to-date ASAP but I can try and I think sharing the job would be a good solution for this

Has anyone heared of this imperial ship class before? It is used in the I.M.P.S. - The Relentless movie. A user asked me where this ship is from and if we might see it in EaW. But I haven't heared of this tpye before the IMPS movie. So perhaps one of you has.... In the movie they say that it is a "Revenge Class Heavy Carrier". Could not find it in any database. I think they invented it for the movie, but who knows?! StarGate Mods have to be handled with care right now. Most of the StarGate Mod teams for shooter games had to stop working because of the "Star Gate: Alliance" game. ("Hurting copyrights" bla bla ...)

I dont think they will include moral (like in Dawn of War). I think these units will give your troops a bonus (or at least those around them) which will of course disappear when the heroe dies. But I dont think they will include fleeing and such stuff. I would already flee when I hear an AT-AT coming close

They just wanted to make some bucks out of the movies. I don't think the second part will be better. It will be outmatched by our beloved EaW with ease

If you want to brush upo your skills I would recommend to play Dawn of War. First of all the community is very friendly and not that "pro" (because it's not that big) and newcomers are always welcome. Secondly I think in terms of micromanagement EaW will be similar to Dawn of War. (or at least closer to it than to other games) [in my personal oppinion!] Another game I would recommend is C&C Generals: Zero Hour.

mh. I think the graphic card should be at least a Radeon 9800 Mobile (or the NVidia pendant) but nobody knows anything about the system specs of EaW. This is just my guess...
