Heroes Dying
Well, it seems like Delphi's gut feeling is that they won't be dying. I voted that No, they shouldn't die. In SW:Rebellion, your minor characters were permitted to die, but I don't think anybody ever lost Darth Vader, or Luke, or the Emperor through just random circumstances. Even if their ship was blown up, they were considered captured then (major characters). I think what might be the solution is that they'll just get injured, which will basically be like a time-out. Think Anakin losing all his limbs, Luke losing his hand, etc. If heroes will be permitted to die, I think it will have to be in a hero vs. hero event.

EAW interview with David Silverstein
GB: Can you give us any details regarding Empire At War's multiplayer aspect? David: All we're saying at this time is that there's a two-player campaign mode and a skirmish mode that allows for up to eight. More details to come. Can't remember if this was confirmed before, but WOOT!

Capital Ship Shields
Reason the A-wing took down the SSD was because the shields had been destroyed. In that moment, the A-wing crashed into the bridge (shields would have stopped that, recall) and it was depressurized (meaning everybody on deck = dead).

AT-AT troop carrier animation
AT-AT's don't walk out of their shuttle barges. They begin in a kneeling position, and the transport lands and places them on the ground, then takes back off again. The AT-AT's stand up after that on their own power. Also, they can kneel down again to open up a whole side panel, which is an alternate method of disembarking troops or other material. (least as far as I know)

I'm turning into a lurker...
Yeah, its too bad that school has to take precedence over StarWars though... but I'll still be buying RotS and SW:BF2 on November 1st, hehe... I can't wait to play that

I'm turning into a lurker...
I don't really have the time to make regular readings/posts anymore... but you can bet I'll always be lurking and might drop a post occasionally. I'm starting university next week so I'm not quite sure how much free time I'll have then ontop of that and work and studying... edited by Ghostly: Hey no Rebellion jokes about me I just started this game

Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2
Just a basic FPS. Some good maps to practice on are Bespin Platforms, as there's a good chokepoint and its basically just a head on map, no real strategy involved. Another fun map is Hoth, especially if you're playing as Imperials, although if you can defend Hoth successfully as the Rebels on Hard difficulty, you'll have earned my respect, hehe. Also play Rhen Var Citadel. Just a general fun maze-like map.

Serious Korean gamer dies
Indeed, JTL made the game almost fun again.. well fun enough for me to play for another 3 months haha, but I steadfastly refuse to give SOE any more money. Period. I should add that I'd gladly pay LucasArts if they ever have a Star Wars MMO, although hopefully they'll make it free-online!!! *hopes against hope*
