You are correct mr. fosh, AFB's have internet in their on base housing projects. oh btw, my tech school for my job lasts 16 weeks atleast it's on a really nice AFB where there is a beach and stuff. i have family that live 15 miles from that base prolly go bayou fishing on the weekends the bases i will prolly be assigned to when i ship off will most likely be in Florida (domestic) or Germany (international). Seeing as those two places require the most personel for my job.

k, it's official i'm leaving for basic this coming tuesday, i posted a topic bout it in the bar section of forums.

this coming tuesday i leave for Air Force basic training. The job i'm going in as is called Communication Computer Systems Control Specialist. basically i will be working with satellites that go in space and establish communication links. if i wasn't going to be a USAF Officer later on, i could get a job with NASA. but if i like the military way of life, i will prolly just go with the Officer career. well i will see you guys back here in the forum in 2-3months most likely. cain, don't revoke my mod status while im gone either - marcus

here's the answer to your questions mr. elder 1. hmmm i think that in order for land battles to be initiated, you must win space superiority. so it is unlikely that you will have space/land battles at same time. prolly some kind of setting before you start the game that allows you to toggle space or land for the battle. 2. im guessing there is an option when you host a game that lets you know you have a set amount of resources, so you pick your untis before game, sorta like in rome total war multiplayer. 3. yea it would get repetitive :\ but then again, most games that you play hour after hour day after day...tend to be repetitive. that is why you just gotta play online against high skilled players so you can atleast have a challenge and gain reputation. then you don't think too much about gameplay...it's kinda like it's a competition for you so you don't get bored until years later. (was same way with me and Empire Earth) 4. i imagine games will be hosted by someone, then ppl join it. that is the way typical RTS online games are carried out. dedicated servers won't be there. you can connect directly if you want to play with them too. or you could just join their hosted game. - marcus

heh yea i just hope i dunt miss too many football matches while i'm gone. first thing ima buy when i get to my assigned base is a satellite that gets EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Dutch Eredivisie matches

i won't be preordering till january. that february date is gonna change i think.
