  1. Well, I was on a cruise the first week of September and had the game running on my laptop, but a bug stopped it from processing.

Then, finally got it working again, and I live in Houston, so obviously Hurricane Ike has me with no power for the last three days.

With the low interest in the game, and me wanting to change the way producing goods works, I am putting the game engine on hold for now until I get power and I can make those changes.

    I apologize for this delay.

  2. oh, i can show you the costs, it used to be up on the specs page, but i changed it to money because we originally did just buying stuff and i forgot to change it back when we went to production.  ill change that and post the new zip.
  3. Sorry guys, been insanely busy at work.  Are we seeing strange behavior from the construction ship?

it should only be able to build units and structures not resources.

the location it builds stuff is at its current location, so you need to move it around if you want to build a structure in a certain place.

if you have any suggestions for how it should work or you feel its not working as intended, please let me know.

  4. the code for that already exists I just need to enable it, but I want it more controlled than the current code.  I was going to work on it, but until I see interest and people actually wanting to buy ships, I didnt want to put in the somewhat large effort.

So, are there people even playing?

  5. Idle: I fixed the DEPOT NOT FOUND error.  you just had some ships show up.

About the CC7700.  You had the same problem with it not detecting the DEPOT, unfortunately after it had the issue, you cancelled the order, after it was already paid for.  I dont have code that gives refunds, so next time dont cancel out the order if you see its in progress.  Sorry about that.

  6. Sorry, you came on a bit late so you missed a little.  I'll explain..

you get some INSTANT UNIT funds that you can buy some units to get you started.  The amount you can spend is NOT the treasury amount you see on the main screen.  You have to look at your REPORT file in your /reports directory.  That tells you how much you can spend on IMMEDIATE reinforcements.

The TREASURY is used to build stuff the normal way, via construction.  Read the thread on Economics to understand how you start setting up your economy (using your Treasury for that).

As for your jump orders, i'll take a look.
