Isn't 'Star Wars fan' good enough? Maybe fan doesn't go far enough, 'Star Wars enthusiast' to be polite or 'Star Wars fanatic' what intrigues me more though is 2 things. 1) Why do we need a nickname? 2) Why the rivalry between Star Wars and star trek? In my opinion Star Wars and star trek are nothing a like! To me it'd be like a rivalry between the NY Yankees and the NY Rangers or the Chcago Bears and Chicago Bulls!

Scientists have done numerous sweeps of Loch Ness using sonar and small submarines and not found anything that could be a "Loch Ness monster". Apart from that I seem to remeber watching a program about it back 'home' (in London, England) about it and 1 scientist said that there wouldn't be enough fish in a Loch that size to sustain a Pleisiosaur sized creature for much longer that a coulple of day at best.

I have to admit Tofu that the thought of a fellow member of this forum dropping dead never crossed my mind. I kind of imagined many members being young lads who (unless at work or in education) spend much of their time at their computers.

I can't remember ever needing to go to the hospital for anything but visits.

I just finished reading the Lord of the rings. It didn't take me as long to read it as I thought, but I'd been meaning to read it for 4 or 5 years.

I agree. Characters that are kept alive or get brought back too often diminish the character, especially if the plot to the story seems a little suspect.

I went to a museum in York England where is showed some of the torture and execution techniques that were around in the middle ages. The one that springs to mind quickest for me was one where they lie you down without your shirt one put a rat on your stomach, put a bucket (pale) over the rat and then heated the bucket up. The rat wanting to get away from the heat will gnaw his way through the victims stomach. You also get a nasty burn too!

Just snack food and cans.......normally in a Wal-mart bag!

Some cool characters I'd never even thought of.....Piett is one of my favorite minor characters. Then again so is Lobot.

Mark Hamil commented that he thought Boba Fett was given the short end of the stick in return of the Jedi. Something along the lines of Boba Fett was supposed to be this reaaly good bounty hunter and they got rid of him rather cheaply. Thats not a direct quote but basically what I think he said or meant. Darth Maul was an average bad guy, but then again after having the Ãœber bad guy in Darth Vader I guess you can't win them all. I do think his character could've been better if it did show more of him. From a certain point of view he was little more than a glorified storm trroper as much of the time he was given he was fighting or chasing down the good guys. I think there are probably storm troopers who had more dialogue than he did!

I've got better things to waste money on then that stupidity. When I've got money to get me into the movies I can safely say that the movie I see will be one that is worth the money, like Superman Returns or Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest.

I think it is widely agreed that Jar Jar Binks was the most annoying and quite possibly the most over used character in the Star Wars movies. I got to thinking, Who of characters in the movies didn't receive enough time in the movies that was cool enough to receive a bigger role? Who had a role that didn't do the character justice? I think Boba Fett's role wasn't big enough or deep enough. Darth Maul is someone I personally would've liked to have seen more of.

Almost puts life into perspective really.

What I don't understand is if the US can have nucleanr power why are they so against Egypt, Iran or other nations having nuclear power? Maybe I'm missing yet another vital bit of information on this one but thats what it looks like to me.

Jahled I said they had settled down a little I didn't mean that the situation involving them had disappeared. I realise that there is still a nutjob in charge of both countries and that there is still much tension surrounding both. From what I have read though it maybe not as in depth as what you read, I read that Iran is at least trying to resolve the nuclear thing with talking slightly with the UN. Personnaly I haven't read anything about N. Korea in a while which is why I'd assumed it had settled down a little. I've read more about the bloodless coup in Thailand recently then anything about N. Korea. I'm sorry if I come off to anyone as ignorant, oblivious or stupid to anyone but when I read any papers it's scraps of the newspaper the day staff happened to leave behind while at work at 3AM when I have a 30 minute lunch break.

I don't know what this Jackass lot are about and never planned to see either of their movies! Why would anyone want to watch someone eat a vomelete (the local paper the Ottawa Sun did a top 10 gross thing this 'troupe' have done either in their movies or TV show sometime last week and that got number 1)

I don't know a thing about how the american legal system works.....though I'm sure it's nothing like what they show on any of the Law and Orders or CSI's or anyother of the court series. can someone hazard a gues as to how such a process may run it's course? I know that it won't be entirely accurate for this particular case. For them to obtian an arrest warrant for a letter it must've been pretty..err strongly worded.

What events after the original trilogy would you put into a game? How far would you go into the 'futre' from the OT?

Public executions I can't see working. didn't they stop doing that in most civilised nations 150 years ago? Public rapings for rapists or pedophiles? How would you work that?

I'm not sure if capital punishment makes any difference to tell the truth. I mean if someone murders someone then gets the needle it just means the state or county doesn't have to pay for keeping him in a prison and feding him for 10 or 20 years. It doesn't really seem to deter anyone to me people are still murdering people.[/u]
