As just mentioned in another thread, there are some things which are disturbing in the SW-Movies to some people. This thread is for telling what disturbed you there and why so we all can discuss it together (what we often like to do ). So things that disturbed me in the Star Wars Movies: - The Max Rebo-Band - Battledroids (sometimes and nearly all kinds of) - these bad computer-animated droids in the SE of Star Wars in the Mos Eisley scenes. - some Jedis looked rather rediculous, fe. Yarael Pool, Shaak Ti (is she a geisha??) and that yoda-like dwarf-jedi, I´ve forgotten his name . Except Ayla Secura, she looks rather ... like you hear yourself saying "YES"! - the french accent of the neimodians. Maybe they´ve ate too much frogs?! - these cloners, how are they called again?

The little brother of Frankenstein? @Krytos It was called "Command & Conquer - The Tyberium Conflict" in germany. Don´t know if it had the same name in english.

That all would be very logical if they wouldn´t say in the first movie that this Death Star is the ultimate weapon(!). If the first DS was just a kind of prototype why did they built the second one much bigger? http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/a015.gif There´s no reason for that, because even the first was able to destroy a whole planet and vessels. And I guess it was also impressive and big enough. The second DS was maybe more invulnerable against fighters than the first one, but I guess that´s it.

There was another release of a new map yesterday: Endor!!! Downloadable here. These maps first should be made for a newer version of Galactic Conquest, V6.0. But it´s never been released unfortunately. Thanks to Bf2 for that btw! So they´d decided to port it back to the actuall Version 5.3 before this mod will die completely. My little hope is that this may take longer than expected. These new maps may be a little laggy in multi-player but they said that they may change some things.

Do you remember at the end of RotS ( lol "Rots" in german means the slime in your nose, just another spelling: Rotz. ) you can see that they´ve just started to build the first Death Star, which had its premiere in the first Star Wars movie. Hm, so it took about 20 years to build the smaller first one, but just a couple of years later, they´d nearly finished building the second bigger one. Quite unlogical! Because I don´t think that they did build that nearly at the same time.

After surviving the big storm over europe, which is still going on outside , I decided to make a vid of the new podracer-map, so you can take a look by yourselve before you´re going to download it.
