Weren't the clones flash-trained? Basically all the informaton was implanted into them. And even Zahn acknowledges that not all the clones were the same as their original, to the point Fel's clones actively help out Luke and Mara. They wanted to protect their homes and their way of life rather than hep the Empire. How could he have screwed it up if that information didn't exsist at the time? He basically made the whole thing up himself.
