Er, why do we need a button to tell us if the world is gone? Won't we kind of be dead? I read a bit of it- if the moon has gone rocketing off, won't it be incredibly obvious as the tides change dramatically and I start to drown?

Approximately three months before the end, solar systems will be gravitationally unbound. In the last minutes, stars and planets will come apart, and atoms will be destroyed a fraction of a second before the end of time." Cool, eh?
