Extreamly nice review well worth reading, compared to some of the reviews ive seen that mutter utter bull lol ;D http://www.gamerankings.com/itemrankings/launchreview.asp?reviewid=666174 Though i disagree about thier comments on audio and graphics, graphics arnt all these day's also the moding community dose great job with graphics normaly, also i think its fine, as for audio well obviusly thier not going to be the same as games before in SW because most of the actors that were doing things like that are dead lol or dont sound like that anymore.

One thing you got to consider dont take what IGN say by the book thier reviwers are utter crap imo, the only site i trust to make a good Review is Gamespot, and on Gamespot it scores highley well around 9.4 with the users atm. I heard what was said in the IGN video, that guy had neither enthusiasim or the correct mindset to review EAW, he was mostly biased and sounded like he was realy board, also he never did any homework on EAW, his comment saying why Hoth battle isnt in etc and more stuff from movies shows he has a lack of looking around and seeing what the game was about atm and that all other stuff will come in an expansion. If i were the editor or Manager of IGN id give the bad reviewers a reprimand lol.

You can get a Second hand DVD drives from a small indepedant PC shops normaly pends if you got one around you some were, and i dont mean places like Dixons or Curry's i mean small poke shops lol.

Yay i just got the Dispatch e-mail from Amazon.co.uk, so my game is now TRaveling threw time and space to get to me lol, hope i get it poislbe tomorrow or Friday or even Saturday ;D

well my Amazon.co.uk says "Item Dispatching soon" so should mean being sent of today and geting e-mail to confirm that at the end of the day i hope and hopefuly it be here Friday, knowing my luck though it could be Saturday or even Monday or Tuesday.

Then you just have had experience with ordering from bad online sites,m use Amazon.com or its co.uk or de sites wpenind on were you live or other good well knowen sites, no crapy ones lol. Also i was in the Beta from start with HoI2 i never had a problem geting games online so, think you just had bad streak Kingdark.

Because A: the nearest place selling games is around 20-30 mins Cardrive away, B: the Game is in local Language which i dont want, as i want English. also ordering from the Net cna be cheaper then buying from the shop, plus i gues in your country thiers isnt a good postal service but thats not so every were ells.

Ah Play.com i loved them but problem is now i live in German and cant order from Play.com because thier on the Island of Jerssy, bah crap spelling they dont have Vat on thier items so its ok if you live in the UK as thier part of the UK but shiping to EU means Customes slaping on ontop and posible deley as they take thier time to asses these sort of things which means time dely and i want to play the game as soon as posible. That www.spielegrotte.de loks intresting and looked at the Empire at War thier didnt say it was in English or German which means no go for me, but least got a site to add to my list.

Hehe ive orderd mine today from Amazon.co.uk seeing thier wont be Multi Lingual option for German version, and import websites in Germany wont get it ontime to re post it to the pre-orderers to get it on release day i fear hence my choice. Do find it a shame i had to do it but oh well i prefer to play it in english lol, also is only going to cost 30-32 Euros ;D think the Amazon.co.uk arnt stoped by German customs so no aditional charges hehe, or thats what i remember i think. My knowladge of German import websites are limited to only http://www.okaysoft.de/ cant find or know of any others. So any one ells care to share thier experience's and expectation dates Mines suppose to be here either on the 17th if they get it on 15th or Monday its going to take 3-7 days to get to me as im not using EXpress as that cost around 26 Euros : so i had to go with long, so mines either here on the Friday the 17th or 21st, i hope Friday.

I can now confirm that person that made the thread on the Lucas Arts site about him having the game is a lie and jsut attention seaking, some one pointed me to the podcast from PC Gamer were this person downloaded the podcast movie and then inlarged the movie and screenprinted and that said he has the game look at the screenies which are infact the podcast screenies. So forget i mentioned this, the nerve of some people, at least it as intresting whilst is lasted and gives some thing to do whilst waiting for the game lol.

Oh one thing i forgot to say the release date was scheduald for today the original Release Date that is before they changed it to the 16th, so some shops around remote places or which ever might never have goten memos or other info about new release date, hance they release it earler in some shops, hance the people saying they got it its probably true but now that Lucas Arts knows if thea looke don the forums thgey probably gave those companies a roasting so now theyll probably wait till 16th, but now im keeping an eye on download sites, because knowing anything thier will be pirate copies, and if thats the case i got my reporting e-mail ready to go lol.

Gold means its been sent of the Publishers and then the Publishes cna start copying and printing stuff, no changes made, though Petro are posible working on a patch to posible add a few things in who knows ;D yea i know its the LA forums and as said im Skeptical but thiers still the posability that its true though.

because the neck is the connection to the bridge of the AT-AT and it being bent so heavy moves the armor playting and the AT-AT develops a gap between armor plating allowing Heavy Blaster fire or which ever to penetrate and dmg the AT-AT seeing that the tunnal connection is completly cracked, or thats my theory.

Thier is one diffrance between Colletors editions between the German and US apart from the main content, that fact is that the languages are diffrant, i want to play the Game in English and not German, as it sounds better, and tha fact you said that the German DVD dosnt have English on it due to not enough space, its very offputing lol, hance ive got to get the English version of the game. It be diffrant if the German Version DVD had the opetion of multi lingual isntall or at least English version also on it, but it dosnt. Hope you can get that info how good that import company is want to order it some time this week or today which ever.

IMO AT-AT's cannot be beaten if thier standing still witha tow cable around them, tahts why its not a garunteed sucess, i think in the game if the AT-AT isnt moving your got 0% of geting the AT-AT down now if its moving thats another thing, apart from that its nearly invunrable most things apart from realy heavy guns etc. I hope its also baised like this in the full version. The Tow cable is primerly a trip cable in how it works with AT-AT'S if the AT-AT dosnt move then he cant trip lol, simple realy.

Hey Junker how much experience have you got with buying from okaysoft.de ?? do they get the game early enough to send out and it be thier on the day it is released or do you have to wait longer? As im intrested in the English version, due to it being much more cheaper then the US collectors that they display, though DVD version in that case is a good thing lol, but be nice to know how puntual they are with thier imported stuff, hope you can answer that?

Ah thanks for the info, shame they couldnt fit more on the DVD then, i already looked at Amazon.co.uk as i always do the only thing is if i order from them it gets ssent from Island of Jerrsy or some thing like that and ends up in customs are Frankfurt i belive etc and they got to get vats are correct etc, all takes time so some times can take longer, so i might, but still thinking, but will look at the german site you gave My knowladge of German import sites are very limited to around just 1 lol, also the US versionj import from that site you gave is alot of money lol, cheaper and quicker from Amazon.co.uk hehe.

Um ive been hunting around, and im after an english version of the game, now i live in Germany and from what i can see EAW will only be available in German and only German, if you want English then you need ti import, this is some one stupid, as that meansa additional cost a posible longer to wait and get it, i find it an insult to think that all Germans want to play a game in German, thats not the case as thiers many many that want to play the game in the original language or in my case thats so. English is my second language and it speak, read and hear it perfectly as any other English person, now besides this i know its not Petro's fault, but is it posible for you to influance the Publishers as to what language they can put into thier localised distrebution of the game?? I did wright an e-mail to Activision, to thier german speaking part and i havent goten a reply back since then, thats around 2 weeks ago, this is imo apauling. Is it posible for you to do anything about this or in a future expansion pack make the deal with the Publisher to make them put the english version in, and the ability to change localised language version of the first game into english voice files and text or which ever, i just find it a real shame atm that im going to be forced to have import it, Rebellion/Supremacy was multi language instalable but EAW isnt Maybe make the installation before seding the Golde version to publishers so it includes the given languages, and it allows the people more choice?? Any one ells have an opinion to how this sort of thing works etc?

Its a big posibility, and wouldnt put it past the Dev's its a great concept to follow imo, also the basic structure of what ships and units to put in etc are thier, if you noticed the game music itself uses the music from Supremacy/Rebellion neat hehe, do find it a shame thier isnt any Diplomacy etc in the currant game but maybe in the expansion hehe, also with lots of lots of planets, i think Rebellion had around 200 or so.

The Hospital Frigate was not any bigger then any of the other Nebulon B's was the same size, it jsut served a diffrant purpose.

Um jsut a question can you play Empire or is it Rebels only? As i cant realy tell atm, im an Empire player so if its Rebels its not a realy good thing for me lol, as dont like playing Rebs
