One of Shimrra's bodyguards was goin after one of the twins, can't remember which one at the moment and that particular book got left at home when I came to college. Luke noticed this and in an effort to protect said twin unleashed Force Lightning at said bodyguard, sending him flying across the room and out of the fight, at least momentarily. It's been about a year since I read that particular book so I can't remember all of the details...

I thought that was mostly just to get Anakin thinking about the Dark Side as being a viable way to save Padme's life (he was having those nasty dreams/visions, after all). It was both, at least as far as I'm concerned. It may not have been GL's intent, but it did work out that way for me. (At least now that someone has gotten me to consider it in that light...)

Wrong. AOTC Dooku uses push on Anakin. He also pulls the ceiling down trying to cruch Yoda, as well as throwing wall fixtures at him. ROTS Dooku uses choke and push on Obi-Wan. Sidious later throws entire balconies (for lack of being able to come up w/ the right word...) at Yoda. Yoda threw one back. There was a lot of pushing in all the ROTS Duels. NOW, all of these battles used lightning and/or jump, but the way you worded your post that doesn't disqualify any of them. Also if you meant that it was the only duel that ONLY uses a Force power other than lightning, speed or jump you are wrong again. Luke uses jump to get out of the carbon freezing hole.

Zarkonacas, I've also been inactive for about a year. But, I know that many people rely on their faith to get them through the day. Because of that I try not to say anything negative about other people's faiths and/or beliefs. NOW, to everyone else reading this, I'm fairly certain that I HAVE said somethings that could be seen as going against what I've just said. For that I am sorry.

Actually Lieutenant the pay here doesn't merit mentioning. Being an officer at SWR is like being an LDS Bishop. The BEAK Imperium on the other hand pays you in satisfaction. You correct people and wait/listen for their reactions. The more upset they seem to get by it the more satisfying the correction is. Actually, maybe that's just me...I AM the SWR resident sadist after all.....

I'm in awe of the number of names in those lists... SW-DarkSide is missing Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus(sp?). That was just something that jumped out at me as I was browsing it. Also SW-Huttese isn't in alphabetical order like the rest of the ones I've looked at thus far. SW-Reb lacks the Mon Mothma. I'll most likely find more as I look at the list a little closer...

You have to remember though that the Jedi of the NJO, and most importantly those that survived the YV war, now have a new/defferent view of the Force. Luke uses Force Lightning in the final battle w/ Shimrra on Yuuzhan'tar/Coruscant. Now, as far as the Dark Nest Trilogy is concerned, I didn't think Joiner King was all that bad. When I bought that one the Barnes & Noble that I went to didn't have the other two. I'm kind of disappointed in myself. I've seriously fallen behind in my SW reading. I shall try to rectify that situation.

Just watched Saw II. This movie isn't a horror movie. It DOES however earn my recommendation. I thought it a VERY good movie. I can't wait for #3 to come out.

I hope you find them for your, and by extension OUR, enjoyment. If/when you find them you will almost certainly defeat them, then WE get to read about it. You enjoy the battle, we enjoy the story to follow.
