  1. You don't need to create the whole CD image. All I did was make a crack and tell REBEXE.EXE to read the movie files from my hard-drive rather than my CD drive.
  2. MSN is annoying. I must find a way to remove it from my computer.
  3. I've been in the chatroom for over 12 hours and no one has come. I'm getting lonely . Oh and by the way, if my nick has a "`" after my name it means I'm away.
  4. Travelling without a ship? I'm not quite sure what you mean but if you mean the Han Solo flag which allows him to travel twice as fast as anyone else, I haven't even looked for it so I have no idea where it is. I'm not sure it would be in the DLL's though as someone mentioned. It could be in the .DAT files in the GData folder. Which .DAT file though? My guess would be in the major character data file. Not every character would have this flag. I'm pretty sure Lucasarts just added this to Han Solo's character so you simply couldn't change one value and then everyone can travel real fast.
  5. I have a T-Bird 1.2GHz with 384mb sdram and a GeForce4 Ti4400 and single player is sooo choppy. When you play online it's better and actually enjoyable. However, the single player is not worth what I paid for the game.
  6. Destroying the mines and refineries? I've been using that tactic for a while now. It's fun at first but gets boring; it is definitely faster than systematically taking over every system, which is even more boring. I usually bombard a system until there is nothing left, nothing. The enemy can't even build anything on the systems because everything is wiped out. Sure would have been interesting if you both used the tactic. It begs the question, if neither of you had maintenance, how could you build a fleet to destroy the other?

    Help!

Turan, I have an ISO of SWRebellion. If you have a fast connection I could send you the file, it's about 506 mb. I could, but that would be illegal. So, I'm afraid you will have to buy it from http://www.amazon.com for a mere $29.99
  8. I play pretty much any genre, I'm a fan of computer games in general. The best FPS i've played to date was Medal of Honor: Allied Assault; second best was Aliens vs Predator 2. Soldier of Fortune 2 is good online, but single player is horrid. Looks like I'm missing out on a few Star Wars games though; I never played XVT or XWA or JKII. I might have to pick those up, I'm sure they'll be better than Counterstrike. I think Counterstrike is a horrible game.
  9. i made a crack for version 1.00. i can also make one for version 1.01. if anyone wants one, just reply to this message or send me a private message.
  10. Hey Venix, I don't play at the Combine so I'm not the guy you know. And yes, I've also heard lots of talk about these so called model editors. Wasn't one guy developing one in Java?
  11. No, not really. I'm just telling Rebellion to play a different movie than the original one. Looks like you're going to do a bit of registry editing for it. For some reason, rebexe.exe can check itself and change back to its original settings. I tried telling rebexe.exe to play mdata.001 instead of .000. Didn't work when I tried running the game, and when I checked the rebexe.exe it had changed back to .000.
  12. I got it, nevermind.
  13. It is a registry handle that's telling where the movie is located. Do you know how I could change this?
  14. Which Hastings do you know? If you are referring to a real life friend I am not him.
  15. I believe Cinema 4D exports to .X format. If anyone wants a copy, I have it.
  16. I believe I misread your question...are you trying to find the hex locations in the save game file? If you are it's a whole different procedure. The way I described was if you wanted to change the values for every game. And now if you'll excuse me, I messed up rebexe.exe again; anyone know how to tell rebexe.exe to read a different movie file then the one listed in the .exe?
  17. The hex values for the planets is located in the file 'SYSTEMSD.dat' in the GData folder in your SWRebellion folder. The hex values for the sectors is located in the file 'SECTORSD.dat'. To get the hex locations(this process is tedious), make a back-up copy of your SYSTEMSD.dat, edit one value of the Systems option in RebEd, save it, then compare the original SYSTEMS.dat and the back-up copy you made. The systems are in alpabetical order and are grouped by sector. Meaning, you would see Coruscant and Balmorra in the same area of the file. You'll start to recognize patterns, where a new system starts, where it ends, etc.
  18. I suggest the TC takes place during Thrawn's era. As in the books "Heir to the Empire", "Dark Force Rising" and "The Last Command".
