I worked through college(Well after Cornell University) at a radio station as a disc jockey (now they call it On Air Personality meh) which was my major anyway. My second job was doing dishes at a nice Italian restaurant which provided free food. That helped with bills. After 8 years in radio and some time at a Florida Cable company I ended up selling electronics for a bit before ending up back at Cornell working this time. I didnt mind working through college it taught me a lot plus I saw tons of Rock shows free courtesy of my dj job. lol - Grand Moff Conway

Like Tex I am an old timer and loved the original Star Trek. I also must admit to disliking the other series as I didn't enjoy them as much as the original series, especially making everyone friendly to each other - yech .
