  5. Well, first you need a fresh ewok, probably you need to hunt him down in the early morning when they are at the freshest. Then you put him in a bowl with Papaya or Kiwi fruit, which is a tenderizer. After a few days there, the meat should be less hard, but you can smash it with the small Ewok club he had when you hunted him down, if it's an axe you can also use it for making the strips, so no one recognizes it as an Ewok.. Add some herb sauce, a few drops of chili sauce and pepper, and fry. Serve some fries and salad. A perfect meal to be complemented by Wookie Cookies. Next Week: Bantha Steaks
  6. No they didn't, but again after seeing all of the symbolism relating Troy to horses, they could have at least have Priam or someone else explain that a bit somewhere in the movies, so that the Tamer of Horses epithet made sense.
  7. Indeed.
  8. Not much, only mask getting weirder... Los Fabulosos Cadillacs - Revolution Rock
  9. Coming to think about it: Did we know if he was a grown-up at all?
  10. Congrats Darky!!! It certainly has been a lot of spam... I mean of cool posts.
  11. I think that the US would have entered it, with or without Pearl Harbor. With Russia starting to advance in the European front, the US would have seen the danger of communism taking over Western Europe and that would vastly made up for whatever territory the Sowjets lost at Siberia, which in Winter and in Siberia would have made a hard battlefront for the Japanese. The small but very influential Jewish minority in the US, would have pressed for the U.S. to go to war in Europe, mostly, I guess it was a matter of time waiting for the warring forces to tire so they could be defeated more easily by the fresh US troops.
  12. I'm waiting for some of out other Roleplayers to do something [scath, wormie, Mad], so it isn't only Elvis, you and me.
  13. I always sympathized with Hector, which may explain my dislike for Achilles, I liked Ulysses (Odysseus), but I had a problem with some of his decisions (particularly involving the issue with Achilles's armor and Ajax). The one always hated more than Achilles was Agamemnon (and the movie only intensified the hatred), well in the end he got what he deserved when he returned to Micene. [Or in Troy as the movie altered it]
  14. wormie? Now that's a name I hadn't heard in a long time. How are you, my Canadian friend?
  15. I'm missing the option: Roasted with Fries and Iced Tea. And what's about all these smilies?
  16. I didn't like the way his character was portrayed, too rebellious and bloodthirsty, and Brad Pitt's acting relied to much on those two facets and ultimately lacked any "strength". Achilles in the end was only an action hero with a half-invented love-story to back him up. Or it may just be that I never liked the character of Achilles...
  17. I saw it and I didn't like the movie. Sure the battle and the scenography are impressive, but the adaptation of the Iliad could have been a lot better. The turned a ten-year-war into a six-day war!!! It was a way too hollywoodesqe perversion of the original epos, like the "happy ending", Agamennon's Death, etc... I think the screenplay could have been better or that Troy could have been made into a duology with one part dealing up to Hector's death and the other dealing with the last year of the war. I also missed the appearance of Deities in the movies, when reading the Iliad you know that even Zeus has its doubts about the war and wants to save the Trojans... And the soundtrack, well it sound too much like LOTR. Acting was a mixed issue, Eric Bana, Sean Bean, and Orlando Bloom and Peter O'Toole did pretty well but I didn't like Brad Pitt's, nor the girl that played Helena.
  18. The JEdi Starfighter, in the movies, one of the few nice things in the prequels. Otherwise the Defender.
  19. He was the one that censured all of his own posts. He got angry at anyone and decided to deny all the stuff he did to anyone.
  20. We could make a cool Rebellion logo, and you could take it somehwere where they print on T-Shirts... Congrats on the 300 Bill.
  21. Give him time, he's making a big effort. Alice in Chains (?) - Chewbacca, What a Wookie

    Weird

In The Adventures of Starkiller Thread I posted some links to download different drafts of ANH, if you read them all you'll notice how the story evolves, and you can even recognize parts from the prequels in it.
  23. Evaders is a Dark Lord of the Sith, Mind Trick won't work, so we just better wait.
  24. Nice pic Fishface! I'd choose Mirax, because it's almost impossible to find pictures of her other than the Comic Scans.
  25. I'm still not sure I'm not being insulted by you Darky...
