  1. AHHHHH Nowhere is safe from Chuck Norris talk! Gah! -Gags self-
  2. 10/26/89 My Birthday and Halloween? How can you go wrong?
  3. Hahaha. If there was a glove it could be used in accordance with the buttons on the controller. Like b for some sort of force power and then using your hand to direct it. It's a little overcomplicated but I think it would be fun.
  4. You would think that with LucasArts investing so much money in the technology for this the game would also spawn a "glove" controller for the force? That'd be some awesome gusto.
  5. Feel free to exercise your knowledge whenever you want SOCL. The conservative philosophy in context to the Romans (which is almost nihilistic, and existential in relation to how they view the past) is fascinating. I'm always up for learning more, especially about Rome as I know very little. Also I am more inclined to read anything any one of you post as there is a degree of personal involvement, and without such I find myself easily bored with taking in information and reading facts... Online anyways. So yeah, anyone who specializes in anything feel free to talk at me.
  6. Look up the sexual version of "mung/munging". It's a treat.
  7. I don't see a problem with that No, no, certainly not. It's merely the overwhelming attitude of the Romans to be rather fixated on the past. It's rather interesting when reading anything written by Romans. I could go on and on about some of the peculiarities of Roman writing. Please do
  8. Lest we forget about Ed Wood?
  9. Hey be nice. He's trying his hardest in a world of heathens! Urgh I hate people like that... Oh oh oh! http://despair.com/fail24x30pri.html http://despair.com/incompetence.html http://despair.com/potential.html
  10. Ugh... I don't really like what "Epics" have developed into: Soundtrack: Dominated by a loud overtone of blaring horns, with strings as the bass and a choir singing "Do mi nos" in a horrible steccato(sp) (or is it legato?)- Anyway, the bouncy, punchy style. Image- CG battles with thousands of cg people. Acting: Lots of battle shouts with the main character often times charging in the typical "AHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR" fashion. Ugh.
  11. Best line i've ever seen, anywhere I agree
  12. Here you go! http://www.power-of-attorneys.com/stupid_lawsuit_detail.asp?stupid_ID=167
  13. Sue him for intellectual property theft, and say that not only is the name of significant emotional and psychological value but you are also widely known by it throughout the professional world. Then you can claim psychological trauma from having your individuality stripped from you and privatized into a capitalist agenda and because of this you are having trouble operating and coping with daily life. By claiming the name for your professional life you can sue him for discrediting your professional name by stealing it for endorsement of an X and mushroom night club that obviously isn't socially acceptable for a professional. Stuff like that?
  14. Yeah so another thread made me think about what a failure the UN is. It's the modern day equivalent of The Articles of Confederation, so needless to say nothing really gets done. So what do you do to make the UN effective? I've heard good arguments pertaining to a standing army, that way the US isn't being the world police and fucking things up for everyone, and it keeps UN policies better enforced. Also instances like the Darfur genocide can be quelled quickly. Although the only way to fund a standing army it seems would be through some means of privatization.
  15. Ah, good ol' Teddy and the Bull Moose party. I wish he were around today; I'd vote for him in a heart beat Alas I don't think there's much in the way of progressive reform today.
  16. What?? I'm sorry Eagle, I don't know where you get your facts, but you're completely wrong. The US economy has been growing yearly a good consistent 3-4% every year with "W" in office, AND unemployment has dropped to the lowest levels in quite a loooooonnng time (it got down into the 4.?% rate). I'm not sure where it's at now, but the US it quite better off with "W" than "Slick Willy" when it comes to the economy. Bush's "tax cuts" have stimulated the economy (as proven by JFK and Ronald Reagan), while reducing yearly deficits on the US national budget (getting closer to a "balanced" budget, but Congress is the purse string holders and wild spenders. The President recommends a budget, but Congress funds it). The US would be much better off getting rid of the IRS and income taxes all together, and going over to a "consumption tax". The price of consumer goods would only have a maximum change of maybe +/- 1-2%. For a thorough explanation, see http://www.fairtax.org. You'll be surprised at how well this would really work. As for Rob's original post: Hillary is the Anti-Christ! Doom! Doom! Doom! I'm pretty sure that the unemployment rate has nothing to do with W's strategies so much as it does with the under-quality environment of Mexico, and well, I dunno, people's ambition to get out of it? You said that "trickle down economics" (Reagan's economic policy of giving tax breaks to the rich based on the idea that the excess wealth would "trickle down") worked in stimulating the economy? During Reagan's presidency the gap between the richest class and the poorest class widened more than it had at any other time during American history. Not that people care because the middle class was fairly large with a much smaller lower class in those days. I'd go off on Reagan but, well, alas... I'd like you to explain how the yearly deficits on the national budget have gone down and approached a "balanced" state, because I am completely ignorant to this phenomenon. As for Rudy... I'd vote for him if he wasn't so socially conservative. Anyways, the republicans have pretty much abandoned all of their fiscal values and standards so I don't think I could really go for them at this point. I'll probably vote for a third party. Libertarian or something. Maybe Obama though, if not just to take votes away from the others.
  17. -Whistles- Too bad... Thats kind of steep.
  18. Okay I haven't logged on in a couple days. I didn't mean "worst place" as in the most inhumane, run-down, shithole. Notice the generalizations I listed, including the over-the-top surrealist types of people. So I guess you might say I meant "worst place" as in the place most likely to drive you nuts because of the people there. Neither was I making the statement that the stereotypes I listed off were bad, I have quite a few gay friends, have nothing against any of them, have some skinhead friends who- while stupid, and ignorant- are hilarious, and all that jazz. I was just wondering because Albuquerque is the drug capital of the U.S., has the highest gang rate per capita, #1 in business ventures, has a widely diverse population, is being turned into the next Hollywood, is something like 48th in the nation for education, and is like #2 for DUI's. I just thought that it was a weird mix of characteristics so I was wondering about the other places where people live.
  19. In the U.S. In one door you have the luzanians and the hicks, and morons, and psycho confederate-pride bound cowboys. In another door you get the californians, and the flamers, and the stupid movie stars, gangsters, and just wackos in general. In Kansas you get the radical religious folk, and nothing to do because no one wants to live with radical religious folk so you become a radical religious folk. You know, stuff like that... So where's the worst place to live?
  20. This will be the first one that I remember. The one time I went to California during this time of the year I was depressed the whole time because they were playing Christmas music and it was 85+ degrees, no snow. I've lived my whole life in the midwest. I need snow, or else Christmas isn't worth having. It's just as fabled here buddy, kind of sucks. That last Gif that Tofu was talking about is hilarious to watch while listening to Octupus's Garden by The Beatles.
  21. They just need to make the really attractive people wear mid-drift shirts and then encourage them to do class presentations. Everyone pays attention then.
  22. Yay, spice spiders and never-ending night!
  23. Oh we're really trashy out here in New Mexico, kids get in trouble for dress code if you can see nipples, or pubic hair. Anything else goes. Kind of horrible actually.
  24. Wait... what?!.. there were girls?!?!?! and i was not informed?!!! Did you ever meet DinoChick? There was that time Tofu got so drunk he thought AI was a girl and... Good times. Good times. You know I can't help my girlish looks!
  25. What are these CD's that you speak of?
