  1. Well since you've probably done so many edits with the Resource Hacker, it is probably best to go with the DLLs and the dat files. There's just too much that RebED cannot keep track of.
  2. I don't think DelRey even acknowledges some of the Bantam books... I'm surprised they reprinted Splinter, because it makes no sense in the EU that the DelRey covers. I don't see them reprinting any. Honestly, they have much to look forward to in the post-Clone Wars and post-NJO eras.
  3. New game being designed by Will Wright, creator of SimCity and The Sims... http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3138792&did=1 I think it will be pretty cool. Looking forward to it
  4. I have a request - for those with time on their hands Anyone want to do an animated button for us? http://www.swrebellion.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=6 Something or anything animated really... a lightsaber chopping up the SWR letters? A Yoda pop'ing out? A Star Destroyer flying by? And maybe a smaller minibanner... something in the size of 100-150 width, 20 height.
  5. Sounds like fun, love to join you Of course, C++, calculus, electronics, graphic design, and girls are nice goals too LOL
  6. There should be a message saying if you want to run such program. You must select yes. That's the only thing I can think of. In your control panel, do you have a "Java Plug-in"? Try checking the settings there
  7. You must have Java installed on your system. And the command is "/nick USERNAME"
  8. It worked on all my Windows 2000 setups just fine.
  9. Basically, yea. Yes, it was lagging the server somewhat. So I think the code was taken out of the release
  10. There's some yes, some no, maybe saying wait. Thus it won't be a priority issue right now
  11. I am concerned about the use of those icons at this stage. If someone can find me a package of them that is open-source/free for use, tell me
  12. I see your point about the Reloaded Members Only area. And it has been done. Any other forums we should work on, consolidate, change?
  13. So does anyone want to act as signature/image police then?
  14. That would be pretty much my goal. A general links to the all the related sites, probably a news headline listing. But since it seems No is the majority right now, I don't feel its too important to work on.
  15. Link seems to work fine in IE and Firefox. So I'm really not sure what the problem is.
  16. Well without a joystick, I never really got into XvT or XWA. Heard good things about XWA though. This joystick emulator works by moving the joystick relative to the mouse position on the screen. Thus if your mouse is up, your joystick will always move up. In the old X-Wing system, the mouse pretty much acted like a standard mouse. You stop moving the mouse, movement stops. At any rate, I gotta write my own emulator to get mouse support for this joystick-only game. Blah... Mouse & Keyboard all the way
  17. I think that proton torpedos have a magnitude of damage much greater than any laser. A Star Destroyer uses a barrage of lasers to overpower the shields... this takes time. Torpedos release massive amounts of energy to overload the shields in one burst.
  18. Its not that I don't appreciate those that are biligual or multiligigual, I just don't see the advantages do supporting other languages here. This isn't really a site to focus on one language or another. It is to focus on SWRebellion and related areas. We need a common language in order to communicate - for this site it is english. If you want a French, Spanish, Chinese, etc Star Wars community, there are plenty of sites that will cater to the language of your preference.
  19. Which card is it specifically? and I'll take a look...
  20. I have some good friends around
  21. What we are thinking, scenarios will be more tactical. No resources or productions to worry about. There will be chances for "reinforcements", but these will be scripted to require certain goals to complete. If you've played Force Commander, it would be akin to the Command Point system. I don't think the Hapans will play a big role. There's really not enough background into them... but I'm sure they'll make an appearance.
  22. Well I got Tie Fighter to work too. The 95 version, Collectors CD. Unforunately, I don't have a joystick here. So I'm using a virtual joystick program called PPJoy. Its not perfect, even with mouse and keyboard controls set, its not as responsive as X-Wing was (w/o joystick). The main site doesn't seem to load the download. But here's a mirror: http://www.simtel.net/product.download.mirrors.php?id=75176+
  23. I don't think its really necessary. We're not in the store business However if there's demand and we get some decent profit out of it...
  24. Uhuh...
  25. I think enough of this. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong. It's just a preference thing. Makes it annoying getting weather reports from different areas, but eh... what can you do.
