To day, I saw one the French news that in New York, you can see SW fans that are camping in front of the cinemas to be the first ones in and they are since Friday 29th!!! Can you believe it? I can understand that people sleep the night before like when the PS2 came out, but ~3 weeks is, I think a bit much. I even saw a woman who left here job to go there. What do you think about that? Would you sleep ~3 weeks on a street to be the first to see that film? I suppose that must be what a real 100% dedicated fan is. And that make me think: I like SW very much and many people do. What makes SW so "attractive» and what is (nothing negative to be seen there) the image, message(s) that you get from SW?

I saw a TV doc about a new dame they are going to build in China on the Yang Ze river. It will be the biggest in the world. The lake it will create will be more than 500 KM wide, 165 meters deep; will drown more that 360 villages and 30 towns. It will be finished in 2009. The mass of water will be so big that it will change the axe of the earth (a bit like the Tsunami earth quake), and it will slow down the rotation of the earth, a year will be one second longer! Do you imagine the amount of water that means, and the power it will represent, China won't need to by any power in 10 years. But the bad thing about that is that because of the corruption in the country or some thing like that, the government decided to not use the best quality cement, but a lower grade one. I am breaking a part with sad horror, crying all my tears, ripping every single hair off my head, preparing a rope to hang my self and saying voodoo incantations on the person who decided that there will be only one single "Special Star Wars Episode III Opening Night" in Switzerland, that it will be in Zurich ( literally on the other side of the country, which I agree is small, but any was, it still is far for me) and, worse of all, that one can only wine a ticket but not buy it. CH means Switzerland. I think that it was a good thing that the fags where put to half-mast. No because France was a Christian country, but because this last Pope was a great man not only for the Christian community, but for the whole world as well. Maybe GAT and some of you have understood that I have personally asked my self if FR did too much. Not at all. I remember, once my brother received a Dark Vader light sabre who did light and sound and, best of all, could be used for sward fighting, it was the pride of our toys. Maybe you also know that a few countries (Spain, Germany, France, parts of Switzerland and others) decided to bring the national flag at half-mast on every governmental building. What you might not now is that some of this countries are laic, including FR. Now that the setting is done, we can go on to the problem. In France, and maybe in other places, there was a very strong polemic : Was the French government, being laic, right to put the flags at half-mast, did they do to much or should they have done more? The main argument for is that the Pope was not only a man of Church, but also a great man who worked for peace in the world. The second one is that the Pope was the chief of country (Vatican) with who the French government has good relations. The main argument of the opposition is that, maybe you heard of it, but a few month ago, the French government decided to forbid people to wear any religious things to school, well, they say that if you declare school non-religious, and the state at the same time, you can put the flags at half-mast. A third smaller group think that the state should of declare a national mourning. Now, what do you think. May I ask you if it isn’t indiscreet, to precise at the end of you message, if your opinion could have been affected, or was affected by your opinion. Also, please answer by giving your opinion on the French problematic, and your opinion on what should have been done, laic country or not if they are different. Thank you

What do you mean, we have less import taxes than the UE (or EU in English). CH (Switzerland) is in the middle, we are getting quit a pressure to join it. The main argument against it is that if we join, we will have to give up our secret banking system, which is one of the main industries of our country:twisted: . Expect that, I think it is a great thing. Of course, all great things have hidden sides, look at the Empire , great thing , but with one or two hidden sides . To get back to the UE, it is a move towards the “utopic“(do you say it like that) idee of a world with no borders and no pore people. Of course, it is just a small step, but at least it is on. Personally, I think CH shouldn’t join the UE till they accept us with a banking system...

The first one is quite funny, but it shows the madness of some people, and to never let your girlfriend tie your arms to a windowsill after a strong argument. But I find the second one not funny at all. I find it of very bad taste to laugh about some thing like that. I find it shocking to see that some kind hade a dispute and being under anger stabbed his sister for a simple pie. One of those great guys who fight all the baddies. Or one of these character of these new types of videogames where you are the baddy and every thing is allowed. It has nothing against you, Dinochick. I can understand that the firs one can be funny if you aren't to sensible. But to find the second one funny... I think it has largely overpasses the level of being funny, I isn't something idiot, even though the reason is, it is something very serious.
