Hi everyone, I'm back just for one question, has anyone tried Empire at War. How was it, God or bad ? I hope I am not repeating an old post, but I tried locking for a topic concerning that game and found none.

First, for travelling in Europe, us Easy Jet, or Virgin or one other of these cheap flights. Then for lodging, if you are under about 30, got to what is called (literally translated) «Inn of youth» or use hostel. They are really cheap, but as said in their names, you have to be young. Except that, try to pas no more than 3 days in every town. Like 2 days in London, 3 days in Paris 2-3 days in Barcelona ( a wonderful town ) 3 days in Rome, skip Athens, Try to go to Prague, skip Berlin, try Munich instead, or Köln ( Cologne ). Swiss Germany is always funny to see. Mentioned Lucerne, nice town, (and just to mention, it is completely flooded right now). Really nice. I you can the Swiss Italian part is beautiful. Try to take the mountain train if you can. Vienna isn’t so much. But Venice is a must see, and even more seeing that it won't be there for ever. Lyon is nice for a day, expellant food, probably the best in France. If you can, on the way here or back, try to stop in Island, it is very special. DON'T go to Madrid. Depending on what you are interested, if I was you, I wouldn't go too much in museums. Maybe one or to, if it sounds like something you want really to go and see. Because don't forget that every where you go in Europe, there will be an old town, and it is like a museum it self. Otherwise I can't see any things. Oh the lakes in Swiss Italy and North Italy or like in Star Wars, Ep II for the wedding. I even think the shots were taken over there.

I would put my money on Palpy, because he uses dark force. And even if the Dark side isn't stronger, it still is far more affective if you want to kill some one. And also because Palpy has no dignity, so he would be traitorous and fight like a traitor with no honour. Ex: attack in the back or when you are knocked out.

I think that adding different factions would be really complicated, and not that useful, even though the idea seems great. If the Reb's have shields, and the Imp's don't, then I think there should be, or more Imp's fighters in the map, or they should respowne ( I don’t know how to spell that word) faster (but I don't know if that is possible) than the Reb's fighters. And of course there would be the speed and all the rest difference. You could also try to make a difference between space and atmospheric dog fighting. Some ships cold be advantaged in atmos. and other in space... just an idea. That is really cool, but the problem with that is that if you count 2-3 main ships per team, counting each 1 one the bridge and 6 for canons, it make 3x7=21 and there are only 32 in each team, if the team is full. So that leaves only 11 fighters. Now you can count at least 5 players in the game who will play around doing nothing, which brings you down to 6 fighters. Well, what a dogfight... mostly if the map is big enough for 6 capital ships. Do you see what I mean? Then: Well, that is already possible and has always been. You all talk about having more vehicles, but I've got to remind you that the mean critic about BF2 is that it is to "axed" (those that make sense in English) on vehicles. Because don't forget that there will never be more than 64 players, and that is when you are lucky. And the commander will never be able to drive all 3 of them. Except if he keeps them in the same place, and then it would be easy to destroy, so dumb. Do you see what I mean? I really don't think we should allow no more than 2-3 equivalents of thanks, 1-2 fighters and 3-4 light fast transport. And not like in SW Battlefront, where you can have 2 AT-ATs largely overpowered. Just to leave it more as a ground unit fight. Ok, now I have to confess that I am an absolute novice at 3D, designer, modding or programming, and that I am not intending on getting better at it, ok? So I don't know if I will be any help, the only thing I can do, is give ideas. So if you need me say so, but if you don't, I shall not be fussed if you literally tell me: " Nic, we really don't need you." OK?

As the Rebellion, if you take some one who has been recognised as a Jedi, if you train him/her with Luke. The both will improve, but assure you self to do the training on a planet you keep yours, because if that plant (where you trained the Jedi) falls to the enemy, the Jedi will betray you. At least that is what the book says, but I've never experienced it. Otherwise, just send them on various missions, and their Jedi skills should improve.

Do traitors give info on your own army to the enemy? So that means it can happen in the other way, some Reb could give me info on what the Reb's are doing. Cool

Thank you, yes, I know, sorry I wasn't all that present on the forum since... boy it has really been a long time since I have been really active. But now I've got a who month, and absolutely nothing to do, so I will be more active, like in my beginnings, oh maybe not that much . But you must know that I was coming to see what was happening here at last once a week, but I wasn't interested or had no time to post any answers. So, to go back to the topic, who do you get a traitor and can you have a mole in the enemie's ranks?

I've never had a traitor in my ranks, I don't know why?

Has any one got it, what are your thoughts about it? Have you heard any good or bad things about it?

When I heard about it, I couldn't believe it. Having already been in the Metro stations in London, I know that a big, always full and deep. I can't imagine the horror off being in one of these stations when the booms exploded. Personally, I have now friends that I know have been touched, though I haven't spoken with all of them. I can say the same for Mad78, his fam. is ok. I hope it is the same for all of you in London, and the rest of the world. What a horrible act, and for no obvious reasons. I mean, if it was for the G8, the bomb would have been placed in Scot. and I don't believe Al-Qaeda would get involved with the JOs in London. So personally I can't see why a bomb now in London. That is why I do not ask for vengeance, but a demand a justification for these free acts of horror! Saw it and found it great. I think that the biggest change between Batman 1-2-3-4 and this new one, is that in 1-2-3-4, the baddies weren't really mean baddies (laughing all the time, attacking a town with penguins,...) in this one the baddies a really mean. They want to kill everybody. They didn’t wear funny masks, the scarecrow one's was pretty scary I thought, mostly with the drug effect.

I saw the film and really liked it. Tom Cruise might not be always my favourite actor; I must say that in this film he was excellent. His role suited him like a glove. And the kid was good and the girl awesome. Have you noticed that not once there is a patriotic notion in that film? An example, there is not a single American flag in the hole film, which is extremely rare for an American film. You don't hear once about the president and the great army saving the word. In this film, the army is more like a useless group of people all full of them self’s that decide they will fight the aliens, but simply get put to pieces. Or the American patriot in the house that wants to fight and all he does is put every body in danger. I think many people over here in EU will like that because often what we dislike in US films is the fact that everybody is doomed or dead except the US army with a young president who fights on the fist lines and saves the world. (He can be replaced by some patriot or soldier). But I suppose French films would do the same if they were the most powerful country in the world. Any way, there is one black mark one the board, at the end of the film; I still didn’t know why humans won. I guess it must be some bacteria or something like that, but it isn't said clearly in the film. And you wonder why these aliens, if they hade prepared there plan since ages, buried there ships long ago and were watching us carefully, when the came to get us (Whit out having read the book, my idea is that, for these aliens, earth was some field and humans were the fruits that grow on it, and the aliens were waiting for us to be enough.), you wonder why they didn’t check if the earth was toxic for them. I mean it is the fist thing the NASA does when they find a planet. Sorry if what I have just said there isn't very clear, but I hope you will understand. Enjoy the film

I usually have cereal in the morning, because it is fast to prepare (and gives me more time for sleeping and having a longer shower ) and is filling for half a day. I didn't vote because there isn't the option: Sleep & Cereal. But if you add it, it would be my pleasure voting for it.

Arg, I've just been attacked by some one who's rank was about 3 thousand. It was painful. I've never been sabotaged my self. And when I try to sabotage some one else, it always failed.

Arggg finally I've managed to pass this bloody 20000th rank. Every time I did, I would go back the next day. But now it is finished, I am ~18000th. I must say I was greatly helped by a dear Supermum who had 10 nice millions, and not the one I attacked 2 weeks ago. But since I have attacked him, I received a message from him telling me to beware. hum hum... well if I was you, I wouldn't count on it toooooooo much...

The spy and senty weapons are useless, I have none but I've got about 2’000’000 in Spy and a bit less in Sentry. It goes up much faster when you train Spies or Sentries. I'v got about 2000 Spies and 1500 Sentries. And two days ago, I saw guy on page 1200 that had 10'000'000 gold. And only 6’000 in defence. I attacked him and got 9’500’000 gold. :D :D :D

I have some thing to say, I might be wrong, but I will say it anyway, so don’t laugh at me if it is stupid. In E.II they explain that the clones of Boba / Jango Fett (never know which one is the first) grow faster than a normal human would. That would mean that they will become old faster than a human. But anyway, even if they don't get older faster, after 20 years of fighting, you aren’t anymore on the combat fields. Because supposing that the clones were about 25 in RotS , they must be about 40 in ANH, which is way over the age were you fight in a commando section during a war. P.S sorry if the phrasing isn't correct, I was in a rush.
