Saturday and Sunday, i've remade some rebel characters, too. The problem is, that some of the rebel characters quality is worse than imperial ones. I have much trouble with the rebel characters... But, lets tell, the rebel Jan Dodonna's quality is the highest amongst the all characters I hope that in this week i will have enough time to complete all of the characters. Who can help me with the Reloaded ? I think it would be easier to upload the modified DLL's. All of them. And then only need to load the .REB, and all would work fine.

You could use him to do diplomacy in Seswenna sector. If all planets are under your control, you can place back on Coruscant, to give that 50% leadership bonus. But after my opinion, is better to have him all time in Coruscant. Why ? You go and attack a planet with 3 troops. Lets tell, that u have an ISD -3 troops, and 2 Galleon with 2x2 troops, total 7 troops. You arrive at the planet. You create a new fleet with the ISD. Attack the planet with the ISD 3 troops, the result is uprising. You put - lets tell three characters with high leadership rating to subdue uprising. You will notice, that the needed troop number is 12. Your 3 man subdue that to 2,3 or 4 required troop number. You subdue the uprising, popular suppor grow a little. Lets tell, that the uprising will stop with 3 troops. Now you put back 1 troop to ISD, a new uprising begin, needed troops 6. Put again that 3 man to subdue. They subdue to 2 needed troops. You subdue the uprising, popular suppor grow a little. Now you put again 1 troop to the ISD. A new uprising, needed troops 4. Now you have 1 troop in the planet, and 6 on the ships. Put your 3 man to subdue. Place that 6 troops near the 1 troop in the planet. The need is 4, but u have 7 troops, the uprising is over. You subdue the uprising, popular support now maybe is balanced to your side, needed garrison troops : 0. 3 events, 3 successfull subdue mission - (+3) leadership to your mans, maybe the time needed is : 4-7 days x 3 events = max 21 days, and the popular support bar is nearly full. In 21 days u cannot do with a diplomat only with 3 leader

I've readed the problem solving posts, but there i could not find that thing what happen in my computer. I have a computer with 266 AMD K-6 processor, 10 mb HD, 96 MB RAM etc etc. (an old shit) and Windows 98 1. I reinstall the game, original version - i have the Supremacy version. If i remember well, i've pathced up to 1.01 or 1.02, i didn't remember. 2.I run the setup.exe (D:/@TC CARDS/RELOADED) i doing all what is written. I have the Reshack in D:/Reshack. This would be the problem ? I didn't think... 3.I load the cards.reb, telling me string too long, etc. 4.When i want to launch that xxx.reg file telling me, that it is not a real .reg file. 5.If i launch the game,not seen the new galaxy,and ship background, no the new voices, only the characters and ships are the only new things. What i done wrong, or what would be the problem with my installation?. An another important thing : i am done remading the Imperial cards in 90%, Rebel cards 50% of the Reloaded TC. Eagle, and JanDeis : lets give e-mails, to can send some remade Reloaded cards. I've enhanced the looking of the original Reloaded cards, made by Lord La Forge. I mean the fleet and space battle pictures... If u know the Reloaded, u will see the differece. I've tried to uniformise the characters, one to not be little, and the other big, etc. However this is enough hard, coz manually and with my eyes i have to do this things

Exactly, as Evaders told. U must put a pixel in the bottom of the picture, on the left side, exactly in the corner. If u are using Photoshop is easy,u have only to pick the color of the background(that blue), and with the "line" icon to draw a line of one pixel lenght in that corner. To aquire that blue color, go in REBED, save a picture wich have that blue color, open it in the Photoshop, pick that blue color, open a 400x200, and 80x80 and 61x25 and a 32x32 blank file, fill with that blue background, and then from the clipboard put that character wich u want , and the card is ready Ask me if something is not clear. Wich kind of cards are u making ?

Sounds interesting... how we can try these modifications ? And thx to a member, he were able to introduce an extra character for both side. Now we can have 31-31 characters

Of course, Evaders, i use the 256 color palette, is easy in Photoshop to do such a thing.

Right now, i didnt understand too much about this table contents, but i hope that u will be able, to solve this misterious thing I am very courious , if u can add 2 major characters to be immortal. I am courious, how do u set the character stats, and their rank. I hope, u will find that Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn pictures Btw, u can told your e-mail adress , i can send the cards.

Hello, yesterday i've tried to find these Katarn and Jade things. I've found them in the strategy.dll --> 6746 & 6812. As i see, for the rebels we have slots from 6720 to 6784.This would allow to insert even above 60 characters. As for the imperials we have slots from 6784 to 9001. Here we would insert even more imperials, as for the rebels. We have problems in the Tactical.dll As u said here we have slots from 2201 to 2266. Only five positions are free : the 13,24,38,52 and 59. But maybe this allow only 5 extended persons, to be fully visible in the space battle - if we find the relation between the dll's. I didnt think that we could extend somehow the number of the characters...only if we found a way to use in the Tactical other slots, but we can show its locations in the other dll's(if is possible - maybe this is hardcoded in the rebellion.exe - then we cannot do nothing) I've tried also to add a character : i've done the inserts in the strategy,encytext,textstra,gokres,encybmap and tactical DLL's. However i didnt see the character - maybe is also needed to modify something in that Mxxxx.dat file, what we copy in gdata. Maybe this gdata contains the stats of the characters, after my opinion. And without stats the game didnt see "my" character. How do u use, and with wich program, that DAT extension ? How du u can tell the stats of the characters for the game ?????? I've also tried to remade Kyle and Mara in Photoshop, to look better in the game, but the result was a bunch of several colors, nothing seen in the game. I suppose, that u allready modified them with a program... Can u send the authentic pictures for that 2 characters ? My natal language is the hungarian, and since i live in Romania, i speak romanian too (better than the english) , and english Howewer i think that i speak terrible in english - due to the lack of people with i could speak this language, mostly understand the writing. However i've learned at least 50 metal songs in english, so sometimes i can pronounce in the right way half of the english words that i know.

It is interesting...Since i am hungarian too...but i not live in Hungary... U are convinced, that this guys are dangerous ? Maybe they only want some changes, a better Hungary. Also don't forget 5'th december 2004, where we hungarians who were forced to live in other countries due to Trianon, we wasn't accepted as citizens of Hungary.This was a shame for the hungarians who live in Hungary. However i hope that a new government will assure this citizenship for us. I am hungarian, i know who i am, i will be hungarian without this citizenship too, but maybe this would give a feeling that the mother country cares about us. I will, but still i am working on the Reloaded's cards, they have priority.Only 15 is made 100%, but all are done, only adjusting some things to look even better as they look now, after i've remade them. I didnt know if i use proxies or not, not i am an expert in this case. Well,it is easy to be addicted to the PG2, is a very good game, however the grafics are not quite bright, but the essense of a game didnt depend on the graphics, for me... In fact, i like the vehicles of the 2'nd world war.Mostly the german ones, but the others too. If u are german...do u live in Germany, or in other country ? Here in Transsylvania i have a german buddy, who live here,now he almost perfectly learned the hungarian language. It seems, that all nations are present here in this forum. MAD78 is from Swissland if i remember well, Lord La_Forge is hungarian like me, from Hungary, Cain who made the excellent TC "Protectorate: The Empire Strikes Back" is romanian, sometimes i talk with him on phone. The pictures u sent me didnt have enough good quality...unfortunatly i cannot make good card with that Stahl actor.That politician also ugly , but hte other who is Brandei, would be good for a card, like the Jeff Bridges picture that u showed me yesterday. If i didnt forgot, i will bring tomorrow a few cards about Reloaded characters.Some of them are looking very good, u will see I will bring th e originals, and my remake at once. Well if this ones were the first attempts to made a card, then i understand. I have to bring here some cards of Reloaded, remade by me, to see the difference. And yes, i like more the real pictures, too, if u seen my pictures posted here on the forum, u see that all was made by a picture. This Jeff Bridges picture i think would be good, however i didnt like too much to put other actor's pictures in the game. Anyway i will try to make a Bel Iblis card with this better quality picture. And i know that actor, that Armin Muller Stahl. And that guy who is Dorja i also know, maybe he is a politician, but i know an actor too, that looking the same. Thx for the cards, however their quality is not too bright I like Brandei, and Garm bel Iblis too. However i need the original pictures to can make the little pictures look much better...if u want... Garm is looking nice, but i didnt like that his head how standing.U didnt have an another picture with this guy ? Or i ask if u have another pictures that could be good to be Garm. I have one picture the guy nearly looking as Garm looks in the game However this guy is quite youth, not really good for an elder Garm I consider that Brandei is the better character. Dorja's head is a head of an actor that i know. Pellaeon's head is also a head of an actor. Maybe they would be better, if we can plant the heads more better on the uniforms. Hello, after a long period i am here again. Some things to tell : Somebody had right, the research project is too long...if i remember well, i've researched the Eclipse around the day 1000-1100..., but i think the players are eager to have theese beauties more earlier The second error : the allegiance and the eclipse are researched in the same time... The MC40 in the beginning have 2 regiment of soldiers, howewer they cannot carry any troops. I think here would better, to introduce an another shipclassin exchange of the MC40.Maybe the Dreadnaught I've disliked the little pictures of the characters, so i've decided after a conversation with La_Forge, that i will remake the little pictures. Almost all characters are ready, only minor corrections i have to made. And by this way i want to ask what i have to do, to can load perfectly the TC, coz i launch the setup, give the location of the Reshack, after that loading the TC and howewer it isnt loaded correctly. What i had omitted, in this case ?

I didnt know, if u will find a TC to have other super shipclasses like the SSD. In the Reloaded all ships almost will be changed, i think. Once i will do a "super" TC of mine and in that will be the Sovereign and Eclipse classes as well. Coz Mask of somebody else made the ship's models, that i can introduce in the battlefield.

U have to try first the "Protectorate : The empire stikes back". About the other TC's some of them is not had been finished, the others are not uploaded again after the crash like "my" TC. I can send my TC to u if u want, but is 43 Mb (i've changed the ship models in the battlefield).

If this game will be nearly same as the Rebellion - i mean it will use the same graphic engine with event and character pictures, then in this case i will hand over my precious character and other pictures - and even i can make them to look good. I am not an ace using the photoshop, but i've created a lot of character cards.If anybody know my TC - they know what i mean - i've focused to create good looking charaters. On the other hand, maybe i can help to invent some stories and ingame events.
