  1. I can't decide which to choose, John Doe, Jigsaw, or Hannibal Lector. All of them were just cool killers. Smooth, Intelligent, and good, of twisted, reasons behind their killing. Personally, I would rather see those three go at it in a three way death match.
  2. I concur. If people had a backup site, and no one told me, then that must mean I am not loved. Oh, woe is me!!!! *grabs razorblade*
  3. And you are?
  4. As you all know, we lost 4 months of data. This sadly includes some of the first part of my story, and all of the second part. (You read correctly, I was to lazy to save my own damned story, as I had expected it to be saved here on the site.) Due to the fact that several people wanted to print the story out for various reasons, I am asking that anyone who may have had the stories saved post them here. Not only so that those that enjoy reading them, but also for my own use as I frequently had to backtrack to find ship/planet/personel names. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. I honestly can't decide which to post, so you will get both pictures. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v445/droiger/youarenot.gif Also... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v445/droiger/37012.jpg I win the thread!
  6. Eye of Palpatine I still have it, just never use it. Considering they were designed to have a superlaser built into them, I would say they counted. Also, I think one of them was completed, in the Dark Empire series. The rest were believed to have been scrapped after the final death of the resurrected Emperor, to help maintain the dwindling Imperial warfleet. Never read the YJN series, so I wouldn't know. I refuse to count that as a superweapon, as all it was was a massive asteroid with a insane amount of weapons, and a droid brain bent on wiping out a single colony of Jedi that had vanished years before. Which brings up the question: Where the hell did they go?
  7. All known superweapons: ~Death Star ~Death Star II ~Death Star Prototype ~Sun Crusher ~Galaxy Gun ~World Devestators (Arguable, but what they were capable of doing bring them close) ~Eclipse I, II ~Soveirgn ~Darksaber ~Tarkin ~Code Red Did I miss any?
  8. (Editors Comment: Eh, I'll think about it. But until then, another portion of the story.) Corran cursed loudly as his sheilds dropped thanks to a stray turbolaser blast. He shoved his stick forward, and dove out of the path of several more blasts. As he did so, he looked out his side window, and saw that the B-Wing he was supposed to escort was missing. He grimaced, and assumed it had fallen prey tot he guns of the massive Gaurdian. "Lead, this is Nine. My friend is gone, along with my sheilds. I'm getting out of here." he said, and he looked down at his sensor board. HUndreds of starfighters had set up for a run on themassive vessel, and by the looks of it, only half of them had even gotten close to their target. The Gaurdian and it's escort vessels were laying down heavy fire in so many directions, that bombers were being forced straight into waiting TIE squadrons. "Nine, this is lead. Get out of here. We're following you out. This fire is to think for us to get through. Voon'tai is calling off all bombing runs. I think he means for the big boys to take those things down." came the reply, and Corran looked out, and saw that over a dozen heavy warships were moving into attack positions against the Imperials. Corran just shook his head, and continued on his course. "Lead, is Voon'tai crazy? Those warships might slow that thing down, but with all tose support ships, they will get chewed up pretty fast." he said, and Tycho responded quickly. "Yah, but what choice does he have? He has to do something to stop those things. If he doesn't, we can kiss these yards goodbye." Tycho said, and Corran cursed. He knew Tycho as right, but it was frustrating. The Gaurdian and the Lusankya so far had simply blazed their way through the yards, leaving a path of scrap behind them, including several warships. "You have a point there lead." Corran said, and he looked about. he could see dozens of other starfighters flying away from teh Imperials, back to the safety of the heavier vessels that were inbound to begin a slugging match they couldn't win. Against a single Super-class, they had a chance. But two of them working together was confounding the defence forces, and Corran doubted that Voon'tai would be able to keep things together for much longer. He just hoped that he was wrong. ****************************************************** Voont'ai stared hard at his sensor screens, his mind reeling. The Gaurdian and Lusankya were crushing everything they came across, including the defenders he was trying to organize. And they stayed close enough to one another that they simply moved to support each other when one got into trouble, forcing his fleet to fall back. It was frustrating beyond belief, hence the reason he was moving to desperation tactics. "Have squadrons three and four move together, along with squadrons eight and ten. Have them move in to engage the Gaurdian and its' escorts. Squadrons one and two are to move to support six and nine. We have to prevent the Lusankya from moving to support her sister ship." he said, and he watched as his orders were carried out. Slwoly, the defence squadrons moved closer to one another so that they could concentrate their fire on enemy vessels, not to mention cover for retreating vessels. While this would also make them easier targets, it would prevent the loss of to many vessels. And considering the amount of yards already in ruins, it would be an admirable goal. "Admiral, we have communications arriving on the holonet! Secure comm, non-encrypted." came a call from the communications pit, and Voont'ai waved it off after thining about it for a moment. "I don't have time for that now. Log the message for now." he said, and the comm officer nodded, and did what he was told. Voont'ai turned back to the battle, and sighed seeing that the two enemy formations were blasting theri way closer to each other once again. This battle was simply not going his way. But since he knew he couldn't retreat, he had to fight on. "Engineering, how long untl we are clear to leave the dock?" He asked, and his engineering officer looked up to him. "Fifteen minutes Admiral. We are having difficulties with the forward moorings." he replied, and Voon'tai scowled. "You have ten. If we are nto free by then, you are cleared to blast them off." he said, and the Engineer officer nodded. Voon'tai turned back to the battle once again, and felt his shoulders sag as one of the defending Star Destroyers exploded from concentrated fire from the Gaurdian. They were losing the battle, that much was obvious. He just hoped he would be able to save the primary yards. That was his new goal. He just hoped he wouldbe able to complete it. *************************************************** Deryk cursed, seeing that his hail had gone unanswered. He punched one of his consoles, leaving a small dent in the metal. If he didn;t get through to Voon'tai soon, the head of the second fleet was going to find himself floating free in space. He looked out his viewscreen to the starboard, and saw another member od Drake squad had pulled up next to him in one of thier custom starfighters. Made from the hulls of nearly scrapped B-wings, their vessles counted more as gunboats then they did starfighters. Dual hulls surrounded a single cockpit, which rotated with the vessel. On each wing sat a trio of laser cannons, and a pair of long range sensor suites. it was those sensors that had alerted them to teh presence of a massed Imperial warfleet, which seemed to be preparing for a run to Hyperspace. "Arthyl, you think we can beat that warfleet to Kuat?" he asked into his comm, and the anser came back quickly. "Maybe. I know I can, but your fighter is running on half power as it is. Kerrin and Slak and doing alright, as long as they don;t have to fly any manuvers. Frankly, I wouldn't feel comfterable leaving you guys here." he said, and Deryk nodded in agreement. They had barely escaped a fight with a pirate fleet not more than an hour ago, and all their vessle shad taken a severe beating. Not to mention they were down two good people. All in all, far from one of their better days. "Alright, we will have to run together. Everyone, prepare to make the jump to lightspeed. We have to warn Kuat. But get ready, we may have a fight on our hands when we arrive." he said, and he heard his remaining squad mates respond with silence. They all knew their jobs. And they all knew that their mission had been a suicide mission to begin with. But theyhad made it this far, so now they had to finsih the job. Deryk brought his starfighter to full power, and winced as the remaining engies strained with the sudden power up. He chekced his snesors, and saw that the remianing Drakes were following suite. He readched over, and slowly pulled back the levers to luanch his starfighter into hyperspace. he just hoped they wouldn;t be to late. ******************************************************* "Admiral, all vessels announce ready for hyperspace. Shall I give the order?" Pelleon asked, and Teshik smiled. This was it, the final move to bring the war between the Empire and the New Republic back to a full boil. Most would have considerd such a thing suicide, but he knew what he was doing. With this one stroke, he would leave the New Republics' entire second fleet wihtout a leader. And without a leader, they would be easy prey to his forces. Which would force the New Republic to move the Third fleet against him, which would allow the forces from the Corperate Sector to strike. And such, the New Republic would find itself fighting a war on multiple fronts, a war they had never been forced to fight before. "Yes, Admiral, you may give the order. This wil be a glorius day for the Empire. Our first step to our final victory begins right here." he said, and Pelleon nodded. While they both nw it would be a long fight, Pelleon had full faith in Teshik. Pelleon had never had such faith in anyone since Thrawn had died. But so far, everything had gone according to what teshik had said would happen, which made Pelleon think they finally had a chance to win. pelleon turned to the front of the vessel, and spoke loudly. "All vessels, prepare to make the jump to lightspeed on my mark. Mark." he said, and as one, the Imperial fleet made the jump into hyperspace, on it's final leg to Kuat, and to it's first leg in the long road to what they all hoped would be victory. ************************************************************ Admiral Drommel cursed as the bridge of his massive flagship rocked from another enemy salvo. The enemy vessels were putting up a valian fight, and finally seemed to have found the courage to engage his and Taviras' straight on. Thankfully, the defending vessels were finding themselves horribly outgunned now that Tavira had managed to move her forces closer to his. But Enemy vessles were still getting a little to close for his own comfort. The last thing he wanted was for his ship to end up back in the drydocks for extensive repairs. "Helm, give me a twenty-degree roll to port, and cut our starboard engines to half power. Let's show them our side." he said, and he smiled as his massive vessel began is slow move to catch a pair of Mon Calamari cruisers in a difficult postion. he glanced at his sensors, and saw that Tavira was still moving her forces closer to his. Once they were close enough, the defending forces would be hard pressed to stop them. And that was exactly what he wanted. *********************************************************** "Admiral! We have enemy contects emerging from Hypsersapce! I am counting numerous heavy vessels, and support vessles. One of them is the Reaper!" came a frantic yell, and Voon'tai stood quickly. "Where? I need coordinates, now!" he said, and he felt a gold ice grip his stomach. This battle had just gotten far out of hand. He was having trouble holding two Super-class destroyers at bay, the arrival of a third meant this battle was all but lost. Now all he could do was get as many ships out of here as he could. "Sector four, grid nine-oh-eight! They're nearly on top of us!" the sensor officer yelled, and Voon'tai felt a cold shill run down his spine. They weren;t here for the yards. They were here for him. And with all available forces moving to engage the Gaurdian and Lusankya, he had few vessels to defend himself with. "Call all availbe ships to our aid! All starfighters, all support craft! Engineering, blast those moorings, even if you have to hit the dock itself! Get us out of here! " he yelled, and he watched as the guns of his massive warship turned on the massive drydock, blasting the hard mooring that held them. He didn;t want to think of how many sentients would die because of this, but if he did nothing, even more would perish. "And send an emergency commincation to Coruscant. Tell them Kuat is lost." he said, and a harsh silence fell over the bridge. The crew new what that meant. Voon'tai had no urge to stay and fight. He meant to fal bck, and retreat. And none of them would argue. They were far to heavily outgunned in this fight. They just hoped they would live to escape the deathtrap they had found themselves in. ********************************************************** "Admiral! The Grand Admirals force has emerged from hyperspace!" came a sudden call from the sensor pits, and Tavira smiled. The final part of the operation was about to begin. "Excellent. Contact Drommel, and Inform him I am making my move for the outer yards. And if he wishes to tag along, he is welcome to do so." he said, and the comm officer nodded. With Teshiks' force now in system, the defending forces had two choices. Either continue to defend the yards, or move to try and save thier famed Admiral Voon'tai. Either way, the Empire would win. And that was a victory, no matter how much the New Republic had tried to stop them. ******************************************************* Corran dived to avoid incoming fire from a pair of TIE-Interceptors, and smiled as he saw one of them explode from the fire of a pair of A-wings. But then, he noticed that the enemy fighters were moving to retreat back to their home vessles. Confused, Corran looked to his sensors, and saw that all the TIE fighters were retreating. "Lead, what's going on here? The Imps decide that it was time to leave?" he asked, and Tychos voice came back somber. "Negative Nine. Check your long range sensors. We have new orders concerning new arrivals." he said, and Corran checked his sensors again, and felt his eyes widen at what he saw. Yet another group of Imperials had arrived, this group on the far side of the system. And they were heading straight for Admiral Voon'tais' docked battlegroup. it had all been one massive trap for Voon'tai. And they had all fallen for it. "Change of Orders Rogues. We are to begin escort operations for damaged vessels heading out of system. Hold enemy fighters back, using any tactic necessary." tycho said, and Corran felt his heart sink quickly. That could only mean one thing. Voon'tai was giving up the fight. Kuat was lost. ********************************************************** Admiral Teshik atched as the New Republic forces that were engaging tavira and Drommel break formation, and start off on new headings. After a moment, he laughed softly. Voon'tai had ordered a retreat. The Kuat Drive Yards were now theirs to destroy. But that was not their primary goal. "All vessels are to move forward at full speed. I don;t want any ships from Voon'tais' force to escape." he said, and he watched as his force continued on it's path towards the massive drydock which housed their target. As he watched, vessels from the drydock began blasting themselves free of theri moorings, in an attempt to escape the oncoming Imperials. "Run, little ones. Run all you want. Your days of fighting are over." he said, and he laughed as the first of his vessles opened fire on the escaping ships. Within moments, several smaller vessels had fires blazing along their hulls. Some of them fought back, while others tried in vain to escape. But concentrated fire from Imperial vessels along with tractor beams held them in place. There would be no escape for them this day. *********************************************************** Voon'tai watched in horror as another one of his vessels exploded from incoming fire as it tried to escape the incoming Imperials. The Imperials had moved quickly to surround his force as it attempted to leave the drydock they were moored to. And all he could do was watch as his fleet was torn to shreds. "Sound emergency retreat. launch all starfighters, get them out of here. Order all hands to abandon ship. Also order the evacuation of they drydock. We must save everyone we can!" he said, and he watched as the brige crew followed his orders, then moved to the escape pods themselves. He waited fro them all to leave, the moved to follow them himself. he had no intentions of dying this day. The Imperials may have destroyed the yards, but they would not get their true target. Nto if he had anything to say about it. ******************************************************* "Admiral, I am seeing numerous luanches of escape pods and smal craft from the drydock. They are abandoning the fleet." asensor officer said, and Teshik frowned. They would not be allowed to leave the system. He could not afford to let Voon'tai escape. "Have our starfighters begin targeting the escape pods. Do not let any of them escape. Is that understood?" teshik ordered, and Pelleon nodded. It was a cruel tactic, one that any sane commander would object to. But Pelleon knew better than to argue. The stakes of this battle were far to high to use conventional rules of war. And so, the massacre of helpless enemies had to be done. Pelleon issued the order, and watched as their starfighter forces began to tear into the fleeing escape pods. The pods never had a chance, and fell quickly. But in the pit of his stomach, he knew what was happeneing was wrong. A darker side of teshik was beginning to show through. One that made him much more like the Empire of old, and not the Empire that Pelleon had inherited.

  11. (Editors Note: Jesus guys, this story must be like crack to you. I just can't give you enough. But since, I got off of work very early today (Thank you IT, for being unable to keep our computers running), I think I can give you another dose. Enjoy!) Admiral Voon'tai sat in his office, looking over the latest intelligence reports coming from his scout ships in Imperial territory. As the fleet under his command was at the very front lines against the Empire, he always had scouts moving in and around the Empire, keeping tabs on the going ons of the Imperial warfleet. But the latest reports bothered him. A large number of Star Destroyers had vanished, only to re-appear hours later in different locations. Some people would have looked at it as Pelleon, or whoever was in charge now, deciding to shuffle vessels around in a foolish attempt at confusing him. But he knew better. The Empire was up to something, he just didn't know what. Also, the new starfighters the Empire had worried him. They were faster and more manueverable than even the much vaunted TIE-Interceptors. And since they were smaller, they had so far proven much harder to track and destroy. But what worried him most was the fact that the Empires shipyards will still producing only the standard TIE fighters, along with limited numbers of Interceptors. So foar, the NRI had been unable to pinpoint where the Empire was getting their new fighters, but Voon'tai had a hunch. And if he was correct, the war against the Empire was about to get much more complicated. Hence the reason he had placed a call earlier to Admiral Ackbars' office, in hoped of speaking with him. So far though, his call had gone unanswered. As Voon'tai looked over more reports, claxons began blaring loudly. Voont'ai looked up, and then stood quickly. Those claxons could only mean one thing. Kuat was under attack. But that made no sense. Kuat was far to heavily defended for the Empire to dare attack. Not to mention to far from teh main battle lines. As he left his office, he heard a voice call out over the intercomm system of the ship. "Battlestations! Battlestations! Imperial ships have entered the system! This is not a drill! All pilots to their ships! Repeat, this is not a drill!" the yelled, and Voont'ai broke out into a run. he now knew where he needed to be. As the highest ranking person in system, the defensive forces Kuat had were under his command in this situation. And with his main task force still in drydock, that defence force was all he had. But he was certain it would be enough. Kuat had a sizable defense force, more than enough to handle an Imperial attack. As he entered the bridge, he saw nothing but chaos. He walked over to where his captain was standing, and turned him around. "Captain! What has become of my bridge! get this crew under control!" he yelled, but the captain looked back to him with fear in his eyes. "Admiral, we have a problem. This isn't any normal Imperial fleet. Our sensors have picked up over two dozen Star Destroyers of mixed sizes, twice as many support vessels." the captain said, and Voon'tai nodded. So that is where the Imperial vessels went, which also confirmed his suspicions. "Quite a force they have brought here. Contact the Kuat defense command, inform them I am taking control of the battle. Also, have our crews begin emergency preperations for launch. We are stting ducks on this station." he said, and he moved to sit down in his command chair when the captain shook his head. "Admiral, you don't understand. Two of the Star Destroyers. they're the Gaurdian and the Lusankya!" he said, and Voon'tais' eyes went wide. How could the Empire had gotten both those vessles battle ready so quickly? He had not planned for this. No one had. And if they were both fully battle ready, the Kuat defense force was going to be hard pressed to deal with them both at once. "Give me numbers on what we have available, and what other forces may be nearbye. Have our defence forces form up in groups of ships, so that they can cover each other if need be. Also, have our starfighters prepare for runs against the Super-class Destroyers. We must remove them from the battle as soon as possible." he said, and he watched as hologrpahic sensor reports appears around him command center of the battle. His heart sank as he saw where the empire had entered the system. They had come in close enough that several drydocks would be at their mercy before the defence force could muster the firepower to stop them. "Adn send a direct feed to Coruscant control. I want them to know everything that happens here." he said, and he settled into his chair, getting ready for what looked like the hardest battle he would ever have to fight. ****************************************************** Admiral Tavira sat ont eh bridge of her new flagship, the Lusankya. She watched her sensor boards carefully, and smiled as she saw the would be defenders of the shipyards scurry from the massed IMperial warfleet, leaving several of their precious drydocks at their mercy. "Have our force move forward at full speed, I want to hit as many of those docks as possible before the defenders try to stop us. Keep our fighters close though, let's put these guns to use." she said, and she watched as her force began to move forward as fast as it could. According to her sensors, Admiral Drommels' force was doing the same, but several groups of TIE bombers along with their escorts were flying ahead, to score the first kills. Tavria smiled, and decided to let him have them. She would rather keep her fighters back for a defensive screen. "Sensors, keep me informed of the positions of the nearst new Republic vessels, and if they make any drastic course corrections at all times. We need to get as many of them concentrating on us as we can, so that the final phase will go off as planned." she said, and she heard a voice call back in the affirmative. She smiled and leaned back in her chair as the forward most part of her force began firing on a small drydock, which seemed to be housing a pair of small Frigates. So far, this was like massacring paralyzed nerfs. She just hoped it wouldn't be like this the whole battle. ****************************************************** "Admiral, a force of defense vessels had formed up, and is heading in our direction. Orders?" came a call fromt he sensor pit, and Drommel smiled. Finally, they would be able to fight something that shot back. "Continue on our current course, I want a shot at the bigger yards further in system. But keep me informed, if any more frces array themselves, we will have to swtich to pahse two of the operation. What of Admiral Taviras' force?" he asked, and the answer came back quickly. "Little to no resistance so far. She is currently matching our speed and heading fifteen kilomters to our port. I think a defence squadron may be getting ready to try and halt her however.: the voice came back, and Drommel nodded. "Alright. If she comes under heavy fire, let me know immediatly. We can't let ourselves get to unbalanced. Remember, we are a distraction, nothign more." he said, and he eard several acknowledges come from his crew pits. If evertyhting went according to plan, they would be a distraction which would devestate the shipyards, and leave their true target underdefended. If not, they would still wreck the shipyards, which was an admirable goal in itself. ******************************************************** "Admiral, the battle is underway. New Republic defense forces are moving to intercetp Admiral Tavira and Admiral Drommel as planned. " Pelleon said, and Teshik nodded. "Enough of the forces so that our friend Voon'tai is open to attack?" he asked, but Pelleon shook his head. "Not yet Admiral. But I beleive soon. I think Voont'ai is moving another squadron of vessels to help stall Drommels force. I think we will be able to hit his docked force then." pelleon said, and Teshik nodded. "i think you may be right. Launch all hyperspace capable craft. I want everything we have in this battle. Also, watch Vonnt'ais' force. Oif he gets it away from teh docks, this battle will become much more difficult." he said, and Pelleon nodded. "Yes Admiral. But most of his forces were will into their repair phase. It will take time to get them away fromt eh docks, even in emergency launch procedures. I think we wills till be save for several more minutes." Pelleon said, and Teshik smiled. "We can only hope, Admiral. We can only hope." Teshik said, and he smiled deeply. So far, his plans had gone well. he just hoped he could keep it up.
  12. Interesting little easter egg of annoyance: The house you can buy in Cheydinhal comes with it's very own ghost. It will knock stuff from shelves, kick furniture around, and generally make a nuisance of itself, especialy if you like showing off all your worldy treasures. And to make it even better, no one knows how to get rid of the damned thing. So take my advice, as pretty as the house is, it isn't worth the 15K in gold you will sink into the house, minimum.
  13. Wedge Antilles, hero of the rebellion, former general of the New Republic, and now captain of what was becoming a very feared mercenary squadron smiled grimly as another clutch exploded under his sustained fire. He glanced around, and saw that the pirates they were fighting were in complete dissaray. His squadron had jumped them as they prepared to hit a cruise ship, and quickly sent the pirates into a panic. Wedge keyed his intercomm, and spoke clearly. "Attention enemy vessels. This is the captin of Red squadron. I offer you one chance to surrender. After that, you are fair game to my pilots." he said, and he waited for a response. He waited a few moments, and then got his reply as the corvette that served as the main vessel for the pirates fired at his elderly X-wing. Wedge simply shook his head, and keyed his comm back over to the squadron frequency. "Alright, they want to continue the fight. Three group, take down their shields. Two group, their weapons. One group, hold the fighters off. Gold squadron, get ready. If they try to run, break them of that idea." he said, and he heard several acknowledges. He smiled, and watched as a group of X-wings opened fire on the dorsal sheilds of the corvette with a barrage of torpedos. The sheilds buckled, and Wedge saw several blast marks on the hull of the vessel. Then, a second group of X-wings swooped in, lasers blazing. Soon, the corvettes guns fell silent as the X-wings destroyed them. Wedge was about to ask them to surrender again, when the corvette fired its' engines, and began to rocket out into space. Wedge sighed, and looked off into space. As he did so, six Y-wings flew towards the corvette, lasers and ion cannons blazing. The bridge of the corvette exploded in a fireball, meaning on of his men had scored a direct hit on it. The corvette began to slow down as the engines cut out, and escape pods began firing off. "Alright guys, I think this one is done. Any of the pirates grow a brain?" he asked, waiting for an answer, although he thought he already knew what it would be. "Red lead, this is four. I got two pilots sitting idle. And one more EV. Other than that, I think we wiped them out." she said, and Wedge nodded. Perhaps all these pirates weren't so dumb. "Alright, instruct them to sit right where they are. Blast them if they don't. And call in the Sundawn. If we can salvage that corvette, I want to. The Corellian yards will give us a good chuck of change for it. And good flying everyone." he said, and he keyed his mic off. He leaned his head back, and watched as their ride out of here dropped from hypserspace. The Sundawn was an old Quasar-class bilk freightor redesigned to carry starfighters. He had gotten that vessel, and his starfighters, from the New republic surpluss yards. All at a very reasonable price. meaning someone in high command still liked him. But that was neither here nor there. Now, al he had to do was transport a group of pirates to the nearest Naval base, and collect the reward that he was due. Along with what the Corellian yards would give him for the corvette, he would make enough to keep his men from starving, and his ships from breaking for some time. But this just didn't suite him as much fighting the Empire did. It lacked challange. But he had been spurned by the council, and had decided to go where he could do some good instead of sitting at a desk being punished. "Red lead, salvage crews and pick-up craft are away. What are your orders.?" came a sudden voice, and Wedge came back to reality. he still had responsibilities here. "Two group, Gold squadron, stay on gaurd. Three group, one group, head back to ship. Let's finish up here, and get moving. We need to get back to the core for some rest." he said, and then he heard a chorus of chears, which made him smile. They had worked hard chasing these pirates down, and they all needed some rest. Adn he needed to get in touch with Han. he had been out of the loop for a while now. It was time for him to catch up with how things were going overall. ********************************************************* "Admiral Pelleon, the last of the Destroyers has arrived. All forces are present and prepared." the captain said, and Pelleon nodded. "Excellent. What about the Lusankya and gaurdian? Are they holding up?" he asked, and the captin nodded. "Yes, Admiral. Admiral tavira reports some minor problems with a few of the aft weapon banks on the Lusankya, but no other problems have been reported." he said, and Pelleon nodded. "Excellent. Inform Admiral Teshik that everything is ready for the assault." Pelleon ordered, and the captain nodded. As he walked away, Pelleon turned to look out the viewscreen of their flagship. Several kilometers of warship sat in frotn of him, all of it bristling with weapons. Surrounding his vessel were a dozen more destroyers of various sizes, and dozens of support vessels. In teh distance, he could see the other half of teh attack force, the Lusankya, Gaurdian, and all of their support vessels also hanging in space. It was the largest force of warships the empire had put together since the time of the resurrected Emperor. He simply hoped it wouldn;t be the last time. "Well Admiral, it seems everything is ready. Shall we proceed?" came a voice from behind him, and Peleon turned, and saw Teshik standing there. "Everything is ready, yes. Once we recall all starfighters and scout vessels, we will be ready to leave." Pelleon said, and Teshik smiled. "Excellent. Let us get going then. I have not seen Kuat in years. I do miss the sight of the yards." he said, and then he chuckled slightly. "Although it will be odd destroying them. But if we must, we must." he said, and Pelleon nodded. "Correct Admiral. Shall I give the order?" he asked, and Teshik nodded. "Of course. Let us begin." he said, and teshik sat back, awaiting the time for them to make the leap into hypserspace.

  15. You don't like me? Oh noooooes!!!! Someone on a message board doesn't like me!!! It's the end of my life!!! ......Oh wait, I don't care. Nevermind.
  16. Of course not. They are the main ingredient to one of the worlds best stews.
  17. Ummm.... Errrr..... Do you mean Kuala?
  18. I drive an overblown forklift in a giant icebox. At work, I am referred to as the 'freezer rat'. I also work on computers on the side as a hobby.
  19. Most people find me creepy, at best. Perhaps because I am known to not laugh at the funniest jokes, never smile, and I'm capable of staring at people until they freak out and leave the room. Also, my morals are usually locked in my closet, right next to my heart. I'm a very mean spirited person most days.
  20. That poster is uspposed to be funny. Ha-ha funny. It is designed to make you laugh. If you can't laugh at it, you people take things way to seriously.
  21. I had a pet terantula once. I moved, and the new roomates made me get rid of him though. Although, my friends rat seemed happy to have a different meal for once.
  22. Can't be any worse than Montana. All they have in gun-toting lunatics, and mad cow disease. Not a good combo. Not to mention it is the only place I have ever seen a truck with a gun rack in the back window, and a loaded shotgun on the front seat. Sheesh.
  23. I keep them all chained to my bedroom wall, right next to my posters of Hannibal Lector and Britney Spears.
  24. Everyone feels alone sometimes. it is part of life. Myself, on the other hand, I am never alone. If I ever find myself alone, I always have myself to talk to.
  25. Havene't had a chance to try it yet, but everyone I talk to says it works.
