And the Home One's turbolasers pounded it's shields who started to desintegrate. The B-Wing fired some Proton torpedoes which finished of the shield of the Voyager. Seeing that their phasers had problems already breaking the shields of the fighters and that they where sustaining heavy damage they jumped to light speed. I don't have anything against Salvatore I find he is a great writer and I agree with Trejiuvnat. Chewie would need to go after a moment and at least he died saving a hole population. But still I think nobody would appreciate seeing our two favorite droids disappear.
