  1. please submit detailed bug reports to mantis, I won't be able to fix anything if it isn't in there (unless of course I find it as well)
  2. crash reports especially with detailed descriptions of when it froze are very helpful (make sure you put it on mantis) and what units are involved I ran three 8 player games for a few hours at 8x speed occasionally watching battles as they happened and I didn't get any crashes on 1.05 but that's not to say they aren't out there or that my computer is more stable (I have 4gB/3.5gb of ram so I shouldn't be swapping anything which could be a huge impact on machines with less ram.) I did update the mod to 1.05 though so that might be part of it.

  4. currently uploading the first release to the site Download here post feedback in this thread and post bugs on the mantis tracker http://warlords.swrebellion.com/mantis/ installation should be as simple as extracting the folder to your mod directory and enabling it ingame (its in "C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods") on vista I have no idea, look at the sins official site.
  5. go grab the 163.75 forceware from nvidias site, they have recently produced utterly crap drivers for campatability and these are the last to work correctly.
  6. awesome to know this is still being worked on. Darth malice and I got the old evr running on SWR here, but I don't know what he did with it. If you need hosting support from swrebellion and even some development support feel free to ask I had started work on a web game (db driven using google maps as the interface, and automate a lot of the admin end turn issues) but never really had the time to do all the leg work on it. you can sign me up as I want to check it out.
  7. yeah I've found that to be the case also, I've rarely if ever had a crash against standard AI, I know the golan causes issues, but the standard ships I've tried each by themselves and haven't discovered a specific one..

  11. hmmm I'd try redownloading it, the target line is correct... also try playing as just the alliance (with AI as alliance) there are some issues in old ships that cause crashes with imperials and I need to fix them
  12. the white screen is because of the crappy inconsistancy of nvidia drivers, you should try upgrading your drivers

    svn is up and loaded with the latest version. the textures and mesh files are still in the rar file, but you can get the SVN at svn://swrebellion.com/warlords using tortoiseSVN http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads I'd suggest using a different directory for your checkout than the sins mod directory and then using the export/import, I had some issues with sins using the directory (the svn files were unhappy) If you don't know how to commit files I'd suggest asking a few questions (but checking out the current copy is easy as right clicking on a folder and hitting tortiseSVN checkout)
  15. I mean that the interface can have more holes in it to see the game behind it, I don't believe you are limited to anything else than the xy coordinates of the image...
  16. I like where you are going with it, though don't be afraid to add more transparency. I haven't checked how much flexibility we have with editing the size of elements either.

    check the ftp in the sins directory for the latest version (dated may 1st) it's pretty playable but has some issues, I started putting in rough costs, but haven't tested it much start throwing bugs up in the mantis tracker (I won't accept any bug reports in the forums, only discussion on resolutions and ideas)
