  1. he was probably worried about a power struggler between him and his clones. Also, having more than one of him would make it easier for the New Republic to infiltrate areas with agents disguised as him.
  2. I think he got angry at them though. They aren't allow to make any more CCGs for SW, and thay can't even have the old card lists on thier site.
  3. It's pretty evident once your in the province. There isn't a line of trees that starts once you get across the boards, with barren grassland on the US side or anyting, but you can get to the Provincial capitol pretty quickly. Plus, the rockies are right there too.
  4. Yes, they would probably bring Thrawn back in from the outer rim. I wonder what the galaxy would be like with a no-Palpatine Empire. What would happen when the clone Emperor came back?
  5. No, leadership was added by placing officers and characters aboard. If you placed Admiral Akbar on Home One it's power jumped to 12, equal to the Executor. Then again, the Executor could hold unlimited "pilots", so placing Piett, Tarkin, Vader, Ozzel, and a bunch of other officers could increase it's power to something around 22 or more.
  6. BC is one of the nicest provinces. For an interesting fact, the Battle of Endor (the ground portion) was filmed in BC. The large trees are Redwoods. BC also has lots of mountains. The only problem is that they are having problems with forrest fires right now. They are like California. They lost a good portion of forrest last year to fires, and htis year looks as though it will be wors. Other than that though, very nice place to be.
  7. If you've ever played the SWCCG, Decipher had the Home One as being power 9 (don't know how that translates into actual armament) while the Executor was power 12. I think GL is getting lax in his control over SW if he let such an oversight make it into production.
  8. Sorry. Idn't not trade my country for any other that has a different form of government, be it democracy based or other. Since Germany's democracy is somewhat different, I was saying that it is the only county I'd live in other than Canada.
  9. That's for sure. If you look at the Star Wars official home page they call the Home Once a frigate. Maybe it was actually smaller than even an MC-80?
  10. Yup. I'd not trade my country for any other... well, except Germany.
  11. Probably, but I think that the Rebel fleet would have been greatly diminished after the battle. The only reason they came out on top in the end was because a large portion of the Imperial fleet was thrown into chaos and taken out in the following attack by the well-organized rebel fleet. The Death Star may have been destroyed later, but the rebels would have been too weak to take advantage of it.
  12. I agree. There are just some things that must be dealt with by force, but those things are usually instigated by force, there for they would negate themselves out. I also agree that COmmunism hasn't worked so far in any nation, but if human ambition could be put aside, it would be the most effective form of gevernment. Still, don't expect to see me voting for the Communist party of Canada any time soon. I think that the comment about the Swiss (well, it was a veiled comment) not having an army, and this Mad could say that they are not needed was uncalled for. In all of the major conflicts in the world, the Swiss have been the only smart ones. They haven't senselessly thrown their people into a meat grinder. True, they could have looked at the bigger picture and the fact that sometimes what is best for the world should be placed about what is best for your nation, but they're an example the whole world could follow.
  13. Aye, and no way to fly in and take it out.
  14. I agree that democracy isn't very good, but it is by far better than any government we have had on Earth so far. Communism should work, but the human desire for power ultimately corrupts it. Facism could have worked too, but it is a little too oppressive for most people.
  15. I think that the Star Wars Encyclopedia was using stats for a smaller ship, though there was an image. I don't thionk the image was of an MC-80 (whic were commonly winged). It was the same class of ship as the default Mon Cal in Rebellion.
  16. Aye, a farely large one. I thought that every one knew about the SW Encyclopedia.
  17. The Executor may still ahve been lost, but wit hthe Death Star's shields still up all of the officers aboard her would still be there. If you think about it, the Rebels massacred around 500,000 people. They could have disabled the Death Star somehow, but they chose to destroy it.
  18. I admit that there would be many in the command structure who would probably oppose equal rights for aliens, but they might be outnumbered. There's really no way to tell.
  19. The only thing the rebels didn't like was the oppression. I think that without the Emperor the Empire would have been able to make sufficient concessions to call a truce.
  20. Ther ewould be chaos, but in the end I don't think that the New Republic would have formed. The new Regime may have been better than the old, and the Rebels may have just given up.
  21. It would have been taken over by the Navy, like the Remnant. There would have been a military council and all of the beurocrats would be gone. It would have been more efficient.
  22. That's it. She left hte Bismarck before she was destroyed.
  23. Well, if the Death Star wasn't destroyed, then most of the fleet at Endor would have remained intact, perhaps even the Executor. One of the reasons the Empire got whopedwas because most of the compitent officers were lost at Endor.
  24. My favourite person if Grand Admiral Thrawn, of course! He's a real person, no matter what you might say! I was mistaken about the Euygen(sp?). Not sure why I thought that...
  25. I'll post on the RPG tomorow when I have more time. Hitler only eliminated the surface ship aspect of the Kriegsmarine. Grand Admiral Dönitz (who, by the way, is my second most favourite person) was placed in command of the Navy because he was a U-Boat master. If they attacked Japan the surface navy would have been put back into use and Raeder would probably have been placed back in command. They still had the Prinz Eugen, the Bizmarck's sister ship. She would have proven the equal of the Yammato.
