  1. Scathane's way of life But u are fully right this time The accent on "this time" Back to youre site Darth Ramoth: Its quite good, maybe u have to add more things but the design and layout is practically and easy to handle. I like it
  2. I have also smthing intresting: I fouind Veers as minor Jedi and trained him with Palpy (I allowed Palpy to train Jedis with rebed)to JEDI MASTER he got nice stats: combat -> 15 espionage -> 25 diplomatic -> 12 leadership -> 155, well ok with palpy bonus
  3. Ok its right that he loos but always killed?!? There must be a chance to get out there for him
  4. Thats fully right. Have u a Idea to fixe this?
  5. Well u need to know all of the messages so u can delete much of them unread. Examples: X-wing deployed at..... keep cool, u have a queue there Stormtrooper deployed at.. same like above Reasearching messages they have to go on u can do nothing Diplomatic messages same in green Initiate, subdue Uprisings nothing to do here I delete them all unread and save time.
  6. My guiding principal: The raiding party consists of the Agentgroup, which counts as one thing. The decoys are on their own. That means, that if one decoy is foiled he fly home (or become captured/killed)but the other decoys are still at work. If one of the Agentgroup is detected, the mission is over (failure) The Atributes of the Agengroup is mixed by a formula (dont know exactly) The espionage rate does matter that the party come to the targeted object. The Combat rate is then important to make the mission (sabotage/rescue/abduction...) or the Leadership for initiate uprising missions. After the mission is over (success or failure) the espionage rating is another time important to be not detected while escaping. Back to the Decoy thing: If one decoy is detected the mission goes on and if u sent more than one decoy u have some left. everybody can observe that: often the first decoy fly home after breaching a fleet in orbit. I got a good way to make missions often successful: I send one guy as Agent (with high ratings in Combat, maybe a Jedi or Han...)and a couple of Decoys. The decoys fly one by one home but the Agent can compleet the mission unmolested. Puh was a long explanation but I hope I can help u guys.
  7. SOCL u forgot the greatest master of millitary mind Its Sun Tsu I quote some interesting passage out of "The art of war": Sun Tzu said: In the practical art of war, the best thing of all is to take the enemy's country whole and intact; to shatter and destroy it is not so good. So, too, it is better to recapture an army entire than to destroy it, to capture a regimen t, a detachment or a company entire than to destroy them. #1 of Chapter III. ATTACK BY STRATAGEM To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself. [That is, of course, by a mistake on the enemy's part.] #2 of Chapter IV. TACTICAL DISPOSITIONS
  8. SOCL u forgot the greates master of millitary mind Its Sun Tsu I quote an interesting passage out of "The art of war": Sun Tsu said: Therefore, a wise general will strive to feed off the enemy. One bushel of the enemy's provisions is worth twenty of our own, one picul of fodder is worth twenty of our own. The problem with brakes is that the driver makes a frontal assault on his vehicle's inertia, destroying it by converting it to heat via the brake pad. Why not use that energy to accomplish your end? Since the real point of an emergency brake is to avoid an obstacle I propose a solution similar to the dragged spikes etc which have been offered in this category, but less hard on the car, road, and driver. Fire a harpoon into the ground just to the left of the car, attached by a chain to the frame. The car will swing in a tight U around the harpoon When pointing 180 degrees the opposite way, the chain releases. You continue driving along, but now in the opposite lane, away from the obstacle at a substantial fraction of your initial velocity. You have used your enemies' resources to further your end. Batman had a similar device for going around sharp corners - a grappel which hung onto lamp posts. It was in Batman II I think - but I cant find a link. This strategy I think would be dangerous for passers by and overly reliant on well built lampposts. This device would be problematic in countries where people routinely drive on the left - deployment of the sun-tsu brake would result in the car hopping the curb, entering buildings etc. Hopefully news reports detailing the benefits of the Sun-Tsu would cause political pressures to switch over and drive on the right.
  9. You forgot the microwave
  10. The thing is SOCL: You are right I also see MonCals, ISDs, DNs and so on...... but has this probably a relation to the Cannabis I smoked before? ....
  11. Can someone remember the game "History Line 1914-1918"? I said it was the greatest strategy game ever
  12. Emperor Palpatine "Sure, you're the most powerful man in the galaxy. But you're old and ugly, and your back must be killing you." Well, why not
  13. Have u got a Hardware Router working? That cause problems by me and I couldnt fixe that at the moment. SWrebellion needs Input and Output ports but my Router just let output through so I can not play all games over Internet, Rebellion is one of them
  14. Is it right that a DS in a system with DSshield is invulnerable? No fighter or capital ship can attack so the attacker has to retreat
  15. Thats the right way against the Computer. Against a human player I think the best way is: 1. just defences at very important planets 2. at every planet a couple of espionage droids (or the Rebel Counterpart) to make espionage on own planets. 3. a strong Task Force of Capitals standing by So if u see a hostile fleet approaching send ure fleet to that system and hope u are stronger If u are not stronger send your Fleet to attack an enemy sector because he can not defend and attack with 2 fleets larger than yours. Thats my way and I would be pleased if someone can disprove this tactic
  16. I have no favourite side but I will play as Imperial because i think its more difficult in lategame
  17. What hapens when i have a deathstar in a system with DS-shield? Can the DS be attacked by Fighters?
  18. DAMN what an interesting topic here Unfortunatly I can not add here very much but its interesting to read. I heard something about "Antimatter", that means the full opposide of something real An Elektron and a Antimatter Elektron would destroy each other when meeting by sending out the full energy amount they have (E=mc²) Thats a great explosion
  19. Sure can u take part at the tournament darth_ramoth. You get this thing into life and u have a due for having fun with us
  20. I understand u fine, but HQ victory is a big disadvantage for empire players, because they could not move the HQ.
  21. I dont think that is a good Idea, because its too many luck about it. If someone hide Darth Vader tha game can go too much long. I think the bet chose for 2 players who prefer the same side ist to make a dice decission, one guy is lucky the other one needs to skill up in the side he is not prefering.
  22. I sended it to youre hotmail adress because I do not know how the other is and I could not make an attachment there
