  1. I still say good for him. Don't take it so personal
  2. I say good for you for trying to do things with your girlfriend that she likes, so many guys don't even try, that's probably why most of them are still single. I forgot to mention one of my fav.s - the Secret of Nihm!!! Great flick!!!
  3. You beat me to it!! I was totaly going to recomend this one, it is great and one of my fondest memories from being a kid. I also love the Hobbit. I remember watching it when I was a kid and I even went out and bought it. I love the songs thoughout the film, I would always hear them playing in my head when I was reading the book. Plus, I think I mayhave one of them still in my sig (see below?). Another one I enjoyed was Anastasia, made in 1998 or 97 I believe. I like the story, even though it takes Russian fact and runs away with it. But it is a fun movie.
  4. Well there are 2,480 hits for dinochick, and so far the top 43 are all me, with my website actually being #1 However, I am not this, with the images search turning up 55of55 pictures of mine, and when you type in "dinochick rkh" you get 51 horrible pictures of myself doing all sorts of weird things, but mostly old pictures too (I need to update my site, once again, damm dial-up) Sorry to be MIA for so long folks, this dial up "stuff" sucks! I hope that you are all doing great! I miss you guys . The place it looking great
  5. Really glad to hear that you two are ok Eko & Jahled. I was worried about you!
  6. Of course Can you say Darwin Award for the parents of that kid...geee...and those kinds of children are all around Wal-Mart (reason #4 why I do not go tot he Evil Empire). I saw that that other day and had a really good laugh! I am glad to see the US is so well thought of around the world.
  7. [cough]bullshit[/cough]
  8. I have always loved the Kevin Smith stuff. Some other fav's: Friends - Rachel dresses up as slave Leia Saturday Night Live (1997) - Star Wars screen test with "Walter Matthau" as Ben, "Burt Reynolds" as Vader, "Jack Lemmon" as Chewie, "Richard Dreyfus" as 3PO, "Christopher Walken" as Han (the best!!! Too funnY!!), "Barbara Streisand" as Leia
  9. I have read the LOTR books and the Hobbit. I really liked them and plan to read them again sometime.
  10. Agree with you I do Agree again I do. I also felt like "ahh sot his is one of the levels on the video game (if video games still have levels and I am not dating myself to bad)." Neat, but to much CG going on. But not bad. I liked the quiet scenes...when Pademe is looking towards the Jedi Temple and Anakin is looking towards Pademes apartment, you can see in his face when he decided that he must go and try to save Palpy. Dooku - we knew it would happen, and this was when it had to take place, so I find no fault with it. I loved the look on Dooku's face when Palpy said to kill him. But During this scene I was curious as to how Anakin could get so distracted to forget that his friend was passed out over in the corner. One would have thought that he woud have been more worried (IMO). Animals - I LOVED them! I thought the parrot/iguana thing that Obi rode! Very cool, reminded me of a Phonex. The Camel thing we saw in TPM, neat looking to me. Very Miocene I liked it, my expectations we average to high I would say. I definitely think that it was WAY better than the other two, thats for sure. GL made me happy. I too was impressed and agree with BS. I thought that the midichlorian scene was ok, a little out there, but good to explain it. I think I may have liked to hear more about Sifo Dias and what happened to him/who ordered the troops worked in, but I am happy with the outcome overall. And the lack of a verbal JarJar just totaly made it for me, the icing on the cake
  11. Well, I am to tired to read what everyone had to say (I will tomorrow) but I disagree with you NIIIC. Yoda exiled himself because he failed to bead Sidious. Thats why. I, personally, loved it! I really thought he did a good job and I cried 3 times. I really liked it. Sorry, I did. I will elaborate in the morning. It is 3:30AM and I am beat!
  12. I have had my ticket for a month and will be there at Midnight
  13. MSN has a Star Wars fan quiz out, its pretty easy: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7793319/?GT1=6542 I got "Thanks for taking our quiz. You answered 100% of the questions correctly. Excellent. With knowledge like this, you won’t be turning to the Dark Side."
  14. We had a back widow in my car engine not long after spring break. My boyfriend had climbed under the car to change the oil when he found it.
  15. Lucas Glad to Leave Star Wars Behind http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=190745&GT1=6542 Millions of fans would love a third trilogy picking up after "Return of the Jedi," but Lucas said he has no story in mind and no intention of continuing the tale on the big screen. The adventure will live on in an animated TV show and a live-action series Lucas has planned, set among minor characters from the films in the 20 years or so between the action of "Revenge of the Sith" and the original "Star Wars."
  16. I think that maybe it is there to just tie everything together. The end credits seem to have borrowed a bit of a song from every film. I liked it
  17. Anyone got it yet? I "got" it tonight - its quite good!

  23. http://www.nwfusion.com/weblogs/cool/2005/008611.html Alienware makes Star Wars-branded PCs By Keith Shaw Network World Fusion, 04/20/05 We're pretty cynical about most Star Wars-related merchandising (Jar Jar beach towel, anyone?), but this got our fanboy juices flowing. Alienware has created a Star Wars-branded desktop PC (the Alienware Aurora: Star Wars Edition) and will give one away on April 24 at the Celebration III event in Indianapolis (expected to attract more than 30,000 SW fans). The winner will get to choose from either the Dark Side or the Rebel Alliance models (my money is on the Dark Side). The PCs include AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 processors that include its Cool'n'Quiet technology to help maintain a more quiet desktop in the high-performance gaming PC market, Alienware says. The actual PCs will be on sale in the U.S. "in the near future," the company added. http://www.nwfusion.com/weblogs/cool/AlienWare-SW-darkside.jpg http://www.nwfusion.com/weblogs/cool/AlienWare-SW-lightside.jpg
