The russians spell Peter as Pter. Or something like it. I think the idea could came from the Dune books (Frank Herbert). He also used some half-imaginery names (like Chani, Liet Kynes, Vladimir Harkonnen or Ordos, witch is a river in Asia.)

Yes, it's possible, but you could win the game with those huge fleets. If you have so many ships, there's no need to defend your systems anymore. Some gencores are enough. . You can quickly bust the rebels out of the galaxy with that stupid AI. (of course it's useful agains a human player..)

Of course SD would be more logical. The Xwing games used STD for star destroyer. ( like GUN for gunboats, or MCRV for modified corvettes...)
