Yes I was wondering about that too. But as far as I know, it's almost impossible to crack a source code. Vakundok and Mask did some cracking, but I think those were just tries for understanding the hexadecimal lines stored in the dat files. If you have a lot of freetime, you possibly could hack it too, by changing some numbers in those files, and wait what will happen.

I was wondering how often people actually get online and check SWR. Like I'm visting the site about 2-5 times each day, however I do not post frequently. Each time, I'm opening the page, I see lot of members I know here online, but only for some minutes. Posting is one thing, but keeping interested in discussions in the forums or cards or Tcs is another. So how often do you visit the site and/or the forums

Right! First thing you could do is getting very familiar with RebEd, which is good for both of us RebEd will be essential for testing things. If you would like to do some testing fo us, please "sign up" in the I want to help...testing" topic in this forum. If there are some serious offers, I'll get the team together, and see, what exactly needs to be tested. Want to help us with testings? This is the correct forum for it! We had some misunderstandments about, how you can and can't help us, so let's get things right. WE NEED TESTERS FOR FIGHTERS AND SHIPS, TO KEEP THE BALANCE FOR NR AND THE EMPIRE. What do you need for that? Well most important thing is, you need lot of freetime, because you shall actually play the game with the new statistics, as often as you can. How this will work out? You'll recieve masked fighters/ships ( you wont see the new graphics and the enc. entries ) with the new stats. This will be done by sending you all the cards, you need for testing. You only have to load them with RebEd. In tactical, graphics won't be replaced, as the new models are top secret again. But you don't need them anyway. Not all ships will be released for testing, but most of them shall be tested. So you shall test the more basic ships, and not the special ones, they will remain secret for now. We need realistic testings. First, open the orginial Rebellion, and play with it. Try to understand, what the AI does, what ship does he like, what fighters... You also should know the difference between your fighters. So, you need to be an enlightened Rebellion player, who always wins the game on hard, starting the game with only one sector or even one planet This can take some time, but it only requires some experience playing Rebellion. If you do the testings, yo'll have to send all your reports via e-mail. We want to produce a similar power balance as it was in Rebellion. Or even better! INTERESTED? POST HERE!

Ok... well.. Ooops, that "week" is a bit like... over? Yeah, am what should I say. We did have some progress in the past 30 days, mostly with dll pics, and stuff like that. Some progress on the characters again, and updated about 100 buttons of Rebellion. In fact, we discovered a new Hero, a new hope! Hey, whats this flame-around here? Maybe you should make a list of your skill, that we possiply could need on the project. And by time, we will need testers for the game. Even now we need some for our "fighter stats" problem. We have our fighters pretty unbalanced ...and such. And for the ships too. So we could need a help in testing the ship anf fighter balances. Help is always appreciated of course, but for the project we do have some priorities and sheets. I'm sure you can understand that. And come back frequently to see if it's finished!

I've got 50. It should be between 50 and 55 though, as I probably saw some of them with hungarian titles.

I've heard about the destruction of such a Statue in that region about 2 years ago. Quite sad it was. Of course everyone was upset about it. But that wasn't the only destruction of art in our past. (turkish invasion, crusades, Mao...) But sure, it was one of the biggest considering it's size. My feelings about that are two-sided. It's of course a disaster of our history, but in a spiritual aspect it's nothing. Most of these statues were representing power, I think. Size and material value does matter, as it has influence on a simple minded person. I'm curious who the sculptors were, and what the concept of it's making was. Probably monks, who wanted to represent the masters wisdom in a material way(?)

Certain complete lack? I never told that I have a great knowledge here. Muslims were saying that, what I wrote earlier. And if the Koran would say, kill all Jews, well I would be really suprised. The Bible didn't say, kill all heretics. Yet we had 3 crusades, like Trej mentioned. I do belive, that it is a misinterpretation, until the opposite isn't proved by someone. But a veritable source would be very nice, like Trej wrote before: The first mis-spelling was an accident, my english isn't that good. But we do write Qur'an as Koran. Just something to add: Buddhism ( I voted it) is one of the "clearest" of them all for me. It's based on logic, and experience. It's about meditation,and that means nothing other, than learning the true nature of things. Getting all the experience you can, and seeing the World more clearly. So it's something like a learning process, -lifestyle - that depends on you. Or it's like a guide, but not a rule. Buddhism itself had no restrictions, no codes. Buddha himself asked his students, not to write his words down! It's not an ezoteric mess, as many believe. But it's very friendly and addaptive. Buddha never said, there are no gods. He just didn't care Because it's not importan for your life. In my interpretation, there can be lots of gods, but those are guides too. Schemes for your life, concetrations of attributes. But those are no greater beings floating around outer space, or heaven, or something. And it would be stupid to fear something, that "maybe" doesn't exist. Subjecitve: buddhism is poisoned too, like all other religions. But that won't meant it's useless, or bad. It just means, it's Church is wrong, or atleast parts of that. The institute of the religions are to blame in most cases (hey I wrote this here before once ) : Some years ago, 2 buddhist monastries had some disagreements, and it's monks begun to fight each other. Nice little brawl it was! I've just heard in the radio, that in Rome (in the medieval times) , there was a rule for Catholic priests and monks, not to have sex on the altar! There was really a code for that. Just imagine... Everybody knows that the Koran is not the spiritual source of terrorist actions on the globe, it's just a misinterpretation of their own religion, probably caused by some totally dumb or more likely extremly clever priests of the Islam. phew
