I remember there were some attempts to get Rebellion working in window mode instead of full screen. Just find the solution: Make an icon of the game's .exe file (or use the one the game placed on your desktop). Click it's properities. Alter the PATH like this: ".......\star wars rebellion\rebellion.exe" -w DO NOT place the "-w" tag inside the "" signs, it won't let you do that anyway. There is no need to check anything in the compatiblity window to get it work. This mode is great for those, who are modding the game, and want to see multiple windows besides the game.

Thanks for taking the time to test our fighters. Sadly E-vader seems to be offline for some time now. I hope he will find his way back soon and provide support. There are already interesting results in this topic and I just hope testing will continue until the best solution for all these problems will be found. You see, those are really some problems you've mentioned here. I just don't have a clue why the AI wont build them. The scimitars are special fighters however. The AI should use those crafts propely. But did the AI use the bombers for their purpose in the original game? Or do you think that it was always randomly selected.

As you may already know, I have a new site design ready for you to take over: Basicly it's a concept that can be expanded with anything that fits it's canon. If you like to take it over, please send me an email/PM or find me on MSN Messenger. JI already knows it and would like to have it implented. It contains a new logo, and our forgotten mascot as well. Mostly CSS and Javascript in html. As you're the boss around here, I would gladly pass it tou you and you could freely modify ot fit it with your ideas. As I wont have the skills and time to finish it in full anyway. However I'm willing to cooperate with any design projects on SWR.

Umm okay. This is going to be harder than I thought. I would still like to see some new name suggestions. Kara Nessis does fit well with SW, still I think we should avoid familiar soundings. And of course a casting call is evident. So please link in images that you think it's the best appearence for her. If you have any women in mind (celebrity or not) please let us know! Warning: any spamming in this topic will be deleted, I'm serious about our Reloaded project, please be kind and don't force me to do that. -

Kara Nessis (Lieutenant Commander) Appearance: Petite pale complected woman with brown hair and icy blue eyes. She defy's regulation length of hair (Which means her hair is about shoulder length) and often wears the bdu of Imperial intellgience instead of the formal uniform common to base personnel. Story: Born on the impoverished and rough world of Nar Shadaa, Kara learned to fight to survive and developed a deep resentment for criminals and smugglers. At the age of twelve she smuggled herself off the world to more civilized worlds. There she began working as a navigator apprentice and began looking for a way to get back at the smuggling cartels. The opportunity presented itself when she was conscripted by imperial authorities and given a choice of her branch of service. She embraced a new career as a part of the Ubiqtorate Intelligence Apparatus. There her talents in memorization, inovation, and initiative which she developed served her well and propelled her to greater heights. Now as a Lieutenant Commander she oversees her own intelligence outpost on the outer rim. General Ferrion Caxo Appearance: Male Human Story: Ferrion was the Imperial base commander on Coruscant when it fell to the New Republic. A Rebel sympathiser for years, he, and those under his command, defected at the time the Rebellion attacked Coruscant, helping them to conquer the planet more easily. Well respected by his troops, General Caxo was a loyal imperial until he was forced as a Colonel to slay several hundred civilians who were thought by Vader to be rebel spies. The final straw that brought him to the Rebellion was the mysterious dissapearance of his sisteer and her family on coruscant monthes before his assignment to that position. She had been a senator, but she had supported Palpatine in his rise to power. During his personal infvestigation, all he could finds out was that her neighbors had seen red-claoked Royal Guards at her house, and after that, none in her family had been heard from since. All questions to authorities came back negative. General Caxo is adept at defense and ferreting out spies and interlopers. He was also a key figure in the adaptation of the AT-ST walkers from the older models used during the Clone Campaigns, 20 years earlier. His unswerving loyalty to the New Republic, and insights into the inner workings of the Imperial Army have earned him a place of respect in the Alliance Military. He researched Thrawn, and the what little he could gather indicated that Thrawn was a power-mad incredibly powerful military strategist. But when the Victory Class Star Destroyer Black Remora, serving alongside the Dark Invader returned to Imperila space seeking Thrawn, it was ambushed and destroyed for an unknown reason. Daith hypothesized that Thrawn thought he was on the Black Remora and was probably right. he convinced his crew to change sides, but on their way out system, the local base commander decided to disagree with Raith's decision and launched three full wings of TIE Defenders at Raith's ship. Raith was eventually forced to abandon his ship and flee with most of his crew in hyperdrive-equiped shuttles to the nearest New Republic planet, leaving behind the Dark Invader to crash into the Imperial base. As I posted it above, the text cutting should be ignored. Rebellion uses some dll files, those need to be edited to get the correct lenghts. RebEd cuts down some lines while loading, but don't worry about it.

Just two quickies: The fighters will be remade in small size (however, it's really hard to get them right) The string to long... message occurs, because Reloaded will have longer enc. entries. It won't affect the cards in any way. It's just cuts down some lines.

Basicly, these things are up to you testers. Would be nice to have some improvements on the original cards too. E-wings are not like Y-wing as you know. And there is a big difference between Tie Scimitars and Tie Bombers. So their stats should be modified to make balance with all the others. The original Rebellion's balance was made with those previous ships, so it could happen, that all the other old fighters (x-wing, TieInterceptors..) have to be edited a bit too. After some new stats were added, the AI should be tested. Like what type of fighters it prefers after the chages, and how does it use them. You can use the old ships while testing. I strongly suggest, you use the following ones with original stats: Victory SD I Imperial I Star Destroyer (against both sides) Nebulon-B-Frigate (against both sides) Corellian Corvette (against both sides) Corellian Gunship Lancer Frigate Assault Frigate Alliance/Imperial Escort Carrier Carrack cruiser (against both sides) You can test the fighters with other ships too, but these ships, or atleast the stats of them will be used in some way in Reloaded.

Good choice. But be prepared, that we might want to change her gender in the future, as there are already a bunch of female imperials. We have Tavira in our tc, for example. She is very much like her. But even if we don't change the gender, we need to have some additional information on her past, making her even more unique. As it's pretty sure, that she will win, you guys can already think of something, that we could alter/expand in her story. Perhaps grabbing some facts from the other characters posted here.... There will be a new topic for this soon. -
