  1. Evanescence rock!!!
  2. No no, i meant that the AoE and AoK graphics were really good compared to AoM. But AoM was released long after AoK so the graphics should have been comparitively much better. But they weren't. Rebellion is an old old game, so the graphics are excusable. If Rebellion was released today then i would expect the graphics to be a lot better.
  3. Well i expect that there were some limitations placed on the oracle due to her dying, have to wait and see on that one. I believe that we will hear a lot more about Smith in the next film, just like in SW you don't find out much about Vader in the first film, and then more in the second, and then plenty in the third. Yes the talking is tedious. Zion's party was very boring, but a lot of the talking was intrinsic to the later understanding of the architects explanation and Neo's dilemma as to what to do. I liked the film, it wasn't amazing, but the Ep IV and V needed VI for completion, so it remains to be seen. I think the Wachowski brothers have done a great job of inventing a new superhero and giving him a world to live in. There havn't been any new heros for a while, and it was about time someone brought something new to the superhero world.
  4. Are you joking? It was a MAHOOSIVE let down. The principle of the game was fine, the plot and storyline were great, but the graphics were inexcusable!!! Blocky polygonal characters that made AoE let alone AoK look great. The only good thing was the sea, quality animation. But the unit graphics were terrible, a real let down. Microsoft didn't do themselves justice on that bit.
  5. That's what i mean!!!
  6. Yeah, i'd say that the celebrations fit in alright with the EU. Why do you say they don't?
  7. Maybe you didn't realise, but the whole point of doing the Matrix films was to build a world where they could have Neo as a superhero. That was their intent all along, and the frst film was just setting the scene. Personally i thought it was a perfectly competent film. I enjoyed it because I like that sort of action. I get the impression that you guys just didn't enjoy it, and that you're equating that with being a 'bad' film. Personally I didn't really enjoy Silence of the Lambs, but that doesn't make it a bad film...
  8. Anyone else care to try their hand at making some gif's for our amusement?
  9. Wow. Really? I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's one of cinema's greatest trilogys, yet. But it sure has the potential. I don't get why you thought it was so bad?
  10. Are you seriously telling me you've never heard of Half Life? What about Counterstrike, you must have heard of that. Please, tell me you were joking! 8O
  11. I play pretty much every SW game, and then it's loadsa FPS Strategy and Flight Sim and Space sim. Favourites are Operation Flashpoint which is amazing and i wish there were a Star Wars mod for it, and Delta Force BHD. Deus Ex is classic.
  12. Fantastic Scath, fantastic.
  13. Quality film, absolutely fantastic. Very very good, see it, now!!!
  14. I think it's a combination of many factors. No one event will cause a person to turn bad or evil, a whole sequence of events must first take place. Much like the prelude to WW1, there are many different factors which will affect the eventual outcome in any given situation, so i would say that all the reasons you have mentioned so far play a vital part. My guess that the final straw which will break the metaphorical camel's back will be something to do with Amidala.
  15. It's probably a coolant shaft for venting the heat from when the superlaser is fired or something. The real question is, why is there a shaft for Palpatine to be thrown down in ROTJ!?!
  16. Yeah if you can come up with a plot that would explain your lead Jedi on one team dissapearing off somewhere etc etc.
  17. Just read the entirity of that Ep III synopsis, whilst fun, it is obviously fake.
  18. Right, I've given you your few posts. Time to get back on something vaguely approximating topic. An Imp vs Imp mod would be very cool.
  19. Interesting reading this is.
  20. Which thread are you referring to Dude?
  21. Why do you think Luke is not strongly written in the books?
  22. The sonic charges are fantastic, particularly in the cinema!
  23. All very interesting points. I think the real downfall of te Empire is Luke Skywalker. One wonders what would have happened if Vader hadn't turned, whether Luke would have found a way or not. But as soon as the Emperor was gone, an inexorable slide into insignificance began, halted only by Thrawn.
  24. It's alright, i'm sure none of us mind correcting you Wormie!!!
  25. Okay, well keep checking. BTW, just seen your location, where is that, i want to be there!
