The best way to get it is to buy the Steam or GOG.com version of SWRebellion which you can get from $6 to $10, sometimes less, and it works with Windows 7, 8, and 10.

It's also available on GOG.com, which version seems to work a tiny bit better than the steam version (I own both), RebEd works with both, not sure exactly how, but it does. I like the GOG version better, its more "DRM free" type of feel. Anyway, it has the same issue where you need to save at least every 100 days or so and then you are fine, otherwise you will experience the well known crash.
