Trejiuvanat Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Enjoy yourself, SOCL!!! See you next year!!! And Merry Christmas.. Boy, I just realized that I haven't seen snow for years. Since I was eleven I think... Next year, perhaps, if all turns out allright... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
the_mask Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 I've seen it for more than 20 years and I could definately live without it Especially, when I'm sitting in my car, or when I forgot the gloves and my knuckles start bleeding. Also I've seldom had the flue when it was hot. Maybe we two should change places a while, Trej http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
SOCL Posted January 7, 2004 Author Posted January 7, 2004 Woo, what a trip. Everything was AWESOME! Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia (USA) is probably the best resort I have ever been to in the States! Well, like I said, I was supposed to have returned on the 2nd and sort of did. Want to know what happened? Well...on my last day (New Year's Day), I had just finished having lunch and left the Top of the World Cafe to ride a nice, easy blue-level (intermediate) slope down to the Widowmaker Lift so that I could get back up and ride the black-level (expert) Widowmaker Slope. So, here I am, strapping into my bindings and off I go down the slope... ...next thing I know, I'm lying face up, I can't here a thing, and a lady is trying to get my attention. Finally the sound breaks through, but I can't react, I simply lay there and move my eyes around. Yup, that's right, I had a VERY serious crash. I don't remember it, but the lady who found me near the bottom of the slope said the back of my board caught on a small mound of snow, and at the speed I was going, caused me to literally flip over backwards, making me land on my neck. Ski patrol started questioning me about my name, age, address, and such. I ended up feeding them information that was five years old! I, of course, knew my correct age, but I gave them the wrong home address, phone number, everything! I was rushed to a nearby hospital where it was concluded (after hours of x-rays and CT scans) that I did not perminantly hurt anything, instead I bruised MANY bones, strained a lot of soft tissue, and scrambled my brains up. Well, now I'm home and staying with my parents until I remember how to drive, where I live, my phone number, where I work, and so forth. Yes, I remember my name and such, but it's very creepy having people who are my friends come up to me and tell me that they are my friend, but never remember seeing them. By the way, I have a massive concussion, but the doctors said my memory should return over time...slowly. I do, however, remember SWR, my family, one or two friends, and...Kelly... ...though I hadn't remembered she had passed away until I got home and someone told me.... No worries, I'll be around. I hope you get better, and that you remember who we are!!! Oh, no worries, I remember you guys and a few other people, just not my local friends and neighbors. No worries, though, my memory is slowly, but surely coming back. ...though, do to hip problems from the accident, I have yet to remaster walking and remember how to drive. the_mask Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Drink more Coke, it's good for you... You will always play Rebellion. Zoot be thy master I don't know Scath, I never had the impression of that. How's the head, Socl ? I haven't read this, so I just came to realize the reason for you being gone. I also once had a concussion a few years ago. I was pretty sensitive to light for two weeks and had a major headache all of the time. For some time later I also had difficulties to remember the word "amnesia", ironic, ey ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

the_mask Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 ... you can't drink coke, you can only snor--never mind. Watching your latest posts, I became aware, that you sound a bit more agressive, than you used to. You must be halucinating from not drinking enough Coca Cola, or not playing enough Rebellion. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Maybe Zoot has cunningly replaced SOCL with an HRD? Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Trejiuvanat Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Maybe Zoot has cunningly replaced SOCL with an HRD? Nah, it would have to be an overly flawed HRD the one that impersonates SOCL. I don't think Zoot could have found one of those... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
