I don't think so, why would there have to be, it's just like an rpg with no limit to how far you can advance i think. :)

There may be no actual upper limit, but is there a practical one? For example, if they have combat and espionage of 500, do they ever get caught? At what point does it stop having an impact on the success of missions?

Fairly early i should think. Certainly before a thousand, but it's the fun of it, the principle man!!!

Parttied, worked, and played KOTOR. :D

I found it last night and started testing somethings, the most interesting discovery you can read about in gaming stories. :)

I'll let you in on a secret... I don't have the game. All i have is a copy that my mate made for me a few years ago. Yes that's right. Poor deprived Elvis can't get hold of a copy of it!!!

Exactly, and it's not my fault if LucasArts aren't prepared to let me pay a huge fee to have it shipped over here. :)

Tsk tsk tsk

Btw, is it legal in the UK as well, that if you go to a video rental, get a game there and copy it ?

In Germany that's still allowed, even with this bogus new law, as long as you keep it to yourself and don't charge others for viewing it (although that would rather apply to a movie)

Well, ignoring that it's pretty illegal to have someone else's back-up CD ;) , it's got to be adandonware by now (yeah, I know, there's no such thing . . . ).

Still, if you want the manual, I saw it on ebay for only £2.70 + £2.00 postage.

@the_mask - you're kidding, right? There's no way that it would be legal to copy a film/game that you've hired in the UK and I'm pretty astounded that it is/was legal in Germany. Not that the legality/illegality stops anyone, but still.

That's the point, Dude! People will copy it either it's legal or not. So it' a quite understandable thing to legalise it with certain limitations. Sadly, we have nothing like that in Hungary.

Well, personally, I'd limit the license to purchase for single use only. I know you'd be cutting down your sales to rental channels, but it's the principle of the thing. I mean it's one thing to know that there's piracy occurring at the unnamed and individual level, it's quite another to know that your local Blockbuster is contributing to it.
