oh well...

anyhoo the ships that showed up green were that i saw a really small one that must have been a given skirmish reinforcement, umm a neb-b in the statup map as well as a really big ship in the start up.

Also is there a way to compress or just put in an SFX folder all those sound files instde of them in the main FOC folder? That would be nice. As for suggestions take away some units ecespically ground. In GC i could see half of what was buildable. Very annoying. If i find more i'll tell you. Hope you don't mind my constructive critism.  ;D

 

I also found the units annyoing, the way i countered this was by making shipyards. I only found this problem on space units, and for ground units you should have certain planets do certain things. Put a barracks on one planet and a factory on another. I was considering having only a few planets being able to build barracks and factories much like shipyards to... "Correct" this problem. Oh yea tell me more complaints i need this to work in the future :D

 

 

and HK -

Do you place the sound effects in your Forces of Forruption folder? Where the exe is? Oh which ships were you refering too as unbalanced?

I'm sending it via pm... Don't want to exceede 20 more downloads again... To some that is only a beta. I sense fixed some of the flaws. I'll fix it up in time. Sorry about the fighter concussion missiles. I forgot to make them do shield damage.

Actually, at one point no Kamino objects at all worked(Forgot about water...). That was creepy. Now, in GC, in my mod, the water doesn't work.

I can't upload this to filefront. This is a personel mod lol... well kinda. Besides its very buggy and beta.

The water never worked for me like it did in EAW the water their was good, FOC water is... messed up.

Mr.Caine Im wanting to add in two more Heros but for some reason they dont show up. I wanting to add Daala and Needa.

 

So far I like the mod but confused who gets the CIS units as I try in other Mods to give to Pirates,Hutts and as flavor Empire and Constrodium.

 

Also adding new fighters to the Pirate Space Base Spawn and some ships as well as the Hutts. Same thing for Land.Add what spawns out of the Base for both on land some more stuff. 

 

Also yeah I too had the problem with ships showing up green particulary the new ones ie ISD's VSD's etc.. Hmm what caused this?

Yea I was having some troube adding heros so I just stopped trying but I'm gonna give it a another try. CIS units are aviable too to the Pirates and rebels on orginal CIS worlds blackmarket worlds and require a droid factory for the Underworld. Atzerri, NalHutta, Nal Shaddar, Ylesia, Geonosis, Mustafar, Hypori. I didn't have the green ships. I'm gonna relaunch this, its a bit out dated. Ive changed quite a few things last week. Now their are spies. Rebels get Bothan Spys amd Infiltrator assassians (Cheaper than bounty hunters), and the Empire is going to get to be able to build Imperial agents. I'm gonna work on Storm Commandos later on this week. Umm Saron what did you play as? Did you get a chance to try some of the new units?

This is a pretty good mod aside from the bugs. Some bug reports/Suggestions:

 

-The green ships is due to a missing shader. I copied one from the SpaceAddon 3.0 mod (FSAMeshGlow.fxo) and it fixed them.

 

-Many death clones do not disappear after the animation is over. You need to add

" 0 " to the death clone code to fix this.

 

-Some ships sizes look wrong, The dreadnought looks too small and the CC7700 death clone looks too big. Most of the space stations look too small as well.

 

-There's some missing text entry's for some units.

 

-Some of the corruption missions can be very easy or impossible due to the redone stats for the units.

 

-Most of the big ships FOV looks to be set too low.

 

-The empire seems too powerful in space too early. It might be a good idea to make the Star Destroyers only buildable

at higher space station levels instead of the lower ones.

 

-The old EAW GC scenarios look to be re-enabled, But could use a full conversion to FOC. (Adding the Zann Consortium to them)

 

-It looks like the Star Destroyer ion cannons and possibly turbolasers fire orange shots instead of blue/green.

 

-You can have more then 10 ground units on a planet, Messing up the slot system a bit.

 

-Ground turrets and bunkers seem too weak.

 

-There was a crash to desktop when i tried to use a bombing run. (I was empire, I had also just ordered a bombardment if it has anything to do with the crash)

 

-Some planets in GC have really high credit income, Is it meant to be this way?

 

That's all i can think of right now that's wrong with the mod. The battles look much more better and the whole

game has a more strategic feel to it. Let me know if i can help you with adding heroes as i already added a few to your mod.

I played as the Empire the Side I play and prefer but checked out the others on level 5 tech. I cant find the Galactic conquest you used to add new planets? Ive tried the one with the 64 but it looks like the Planets are the same ones for Just FOC ? And I have not found any planets so far that have Pirates or Hutts. In the Galatic Conquest I play Ive added Hutts and Pirates to a lot of Planets and made them a whole lot harder to deal with and they get a lot of reinforcements both Space and Land wise So thats why I need to know where the CIS units are so I can make them Available to them and Spawnable to their Structures etc. Also the Green colored thing Help fix or something?! as well as the Planet thing. More Heros also would be cool.

 

Okay just some stuff for now Love the Mod so far other than the stuff listed above. It crashes a lot or locks up sometimes. ???

Ok, I'll work on that. The space stations though? I'll have to work on those then heh.

Yea I was aware of that. I thought it would be a serious problem I just never got around too fixing it.

Thats the idea! :D Your on the run almost always. Once you get to Mon Calamari the tide will turn. Unless your pirates.

I was looking to getting around to do that. I have no idea how hard they could be to do.

The Ion Cannon bolts are now red incased in orange. Like the movies.

Yea I forgot to add the TIE Schimita's bombing run. Oops...

Yes, I figured if its a planet. It should have really high income... I mean a planet's goverment is paying tribute to you. More money comes from core worlds. Some of the prices have been tweaked for the next release. Star Destroyers are much more expensive as well as other Capital ships.

Problem is that in 2 FOC scenarios (Gateways and Origin Of Corruption) Mon Calamari is not included leaving the rebels without most of there big ships. You might want to add Mon Calamari to those 2 scenarios to give the rebels a chance.

I am going to continue this project but this is pretty difficult. The dreaded non responding error has came back. But it seems to effect only the Rebels at this time. I feared this would happen and I have no idea where it comes from.

I'm still in the process of adding more units and structures. Gas Giants get a bonus and bring you a nice bonus because of Tibanna gas mining. It also gives you to build refinery ships which brings in much more income depending on a planet. Think of...flyable mining facilities.

wow looks great keep up the good work. BTW the New Republic would make an excellent edition. Perhaps the imperial remenat as well or the Yuzann Vong.

I'll have some more screens up l8r. I think I'll add a clip but its hard to make a clip look right in this game. I'll ask what unit would you guys like to see in action?
