Unit numbers & Scaling (size)

Ok has anyone else noticed that when you shrink the size of a unit, fighters in this case, that they act as if they are on crack, moving turbo speeds.  Is there a way to get them to act normal, speed wise? without scaling them back!

you would have to proportionally reduce their speed in the .xml file. The turbo speeds aren't real, it just looks like they are going too fast because they are smaller(at least from what I've experienced, you may have a different problem).

I fixed that by lowering the speed of the fighters in space combat. As for land - they act more naturally now.

Is that a problem? I just lowered Scale_Factor and Size_Value in SPACEUNITSFIGHTERS.xml and it changed everything from speed to the size of the lasers and bombs. The only thing it didn't change is the ion blasts from Y-Wings. That's actually kind of funny to watch, these teeny little fighters spewing out ion blasts twice their size...
