Nowhere in SW is there missile Cruisers so they should remove it and return the Marauder Corvette to it's rightfull status. There are missile ships in Star Wars guys, they're not all that common but they're there. Have you guys ever heard of the Imperial Missile Boat? How about the Victory I Star Destroyer? But you (the majority in this case) are right to say that it destroys the original star wars flair in this game. I would be happy if they included this ship beside others like the venator, the carrack, the dreadnought, the lancer etc. Why didn't they take one of these and use it the same way the broadside is meant to be used now?This wont get into my head. Also the Strike Cruiser would have been much more fitting, even if it is a post EPIV design. To make one thing clear once again : The broadside is neither ugly nor would its design be useless.. but it doesn't support the star wars atmosphere... I don't mind new stuff (infact I use to defended it when I thought they were going to have the established stuff), but I wanted to actually see the star wars stuff first. I don't even think a Maruader Corvette even has missle tubes on it. Plus the gunship already has the ability to shoot missles. The Venator was seen in a Star Wars official movie, making it superior Canon to written works, and more than games, so it makes no sence to remove it other than to save a popular ship for expansion sales (very f ing nasty and money grubby- becoming a description of LEC and not just EA). It is a new ship and it looks kinda cool(Except for the very stupid name, given what its supposed to do), the tartan also looks nice. The only one I hate is the ugly Frigate MKII Â What I'm angry about is the fact that the gave these newly created units higher priority than already existing and crucial ships, like the carrack, lancer, Venator, Tie Interceptor, the real assault frigate, the dreadnaught, and many others. It reminds me of the Missle destroyers from HomeWorld. They could have called it something simple like that instead of a name that almost nothing to do with the appearence or purpose of the ship.
