cool but if i order it from a US site does it mean that i would recieve it on the US day of release or on the English?

I doubt stores in the USA will ship to the UK/Europe. Im sure it could be on sale in the UK on Feb 17 but it all depends if Activision have enough time to do their PR for it.

 

The 16th is an odd day for a release in the USA, does anyone know if there is a set release date like we have (Fridays 95% of the time) or are games just released as and when?

Games usually come out on Mondays or Thursdays dont they? or was it Tuesdays and Thursdays.. But im pretty sure that they have commn release dates, but not set.

So we can that games can be released any days but the friday look more common in France (in Europe ?). That's why I think the 17th if it's confirmed for all european countries is a right date

 

 

About buying the game on a US website, of course it's possible, you'll juste have to wait during the shipping you'll loose 4/5 days

I got a mail from Activision Germany today.

 

Junker does that mean main Europe or just Germany?

 

The Brand Manager LucasArts Germany wrote me "in Germany the Release date is:...". Maybe it is for Europe also. But I do not want to say something wrong or to make you to hope on a wrong date.

The game release In france has been confirmed today by Activision France to the http://www.eaw-fr.com staff .

Empire at War will be availaible February 17th like in Germany

Little update, I've been confirmed that for French version, all texts and voices will be translated. I guess it would be the same for others languages.

 

Bad point, Activision was unable to confirm me the Collector version avalaibility.(in France)

All kidding aside, I guess the release date will be the same for all of Europe. Seems games come out on Fridays here in Norway too.

any confrmation on UK release as i hope actisuck dont do what they did with jump to lightspeed took almost a month more before it was released that is just plain suckage.

PC Zones Date is 10th February.

At a guess, I think it will be Feb 17th. Until Activision return to work here, I wont be able to confirm this. Also, PC gamer has it as Feb 7 with not a chance of hitting that date!

 

They also point out about the lack of information from Activsion.

AS Fosh said, PC Zones/Gamers dates are wrong because pages were made before the delay announcement ABout Activision, it's strange ... As we are working with them for years now with Star Wars Games and overall SWG, they always have been being very cooperative and helpful with us.
